  1. I use Winkawaks for all CPS1, CPS2 and Neo Geo games and I use Nebula's CPS3 emulator for CPS3 games. Both I have set up as emulators. They can be separate if you like too.
  2. ...wait, who's on first?!

    Vectrex

I think that's why I gave up on it the first time. I've got it running now. Not in GameEx yet. I appreciate the help.

Ok I redownloaded ParaJVE and will try it once more. BTW what is your command line for it in GameEx?

    Vectrex

Thanks fRequEnCy, I'll give this another go. I did try ParaJVE a while ago and can't remember what problem I had running it. I'll try MESS and then I'll fiddle around with ParaJVE once more. Oh and thanks for digging up this oldie, haven't played my Vectrex since.
  6. This is one of my favorite themes, thanks Draco!
  7. I used the ScummVM short name. So Beneath A Steel Sky would be 'sky'. You'd have to change the folder names, then change the path in the ScummVM engine outside of GameEx plus all your artwork and such.

    Shh!

If my kids were into my tools, I'd be rejoicing! I need some extra hands in the garage!
  9. Well I just added my files to the database thread, check it out. Oh and your new theme looks really good! I can't wait to try the finished product.
  10. Here is the updated database and games for ScummVM 1.1.1. There is now 109 games playable and listed. All credit to Headkaze and Greatflash for the original work. EDIT: Forgot 2 games when I did the update. They are now added and now total 111 games now. FINAL EDIT: The Database is now 100% with game descriptions and full info. So grab v3. Scumm 1.1.1v3.rar
  11. It's cool. I was going to throw all of what I put together into a rar file and upload if anybody else wanted to use.
  12. Here is an update to this if anyone is interested. I figured it out. I managed to edit the original database file for ScummVM and added the newer compatible games. Then I renamed all the .file files back to the Scumm short name (i.e. Curse Of Monkey Island back to comi). After that, made a copy of one of the .file and renamed it the newer addition roms. Now all 109 games are playable and in a clean list, full named list. YAY!

    Shh!

Been busy with work and school this semester. I see my cab everyday as I walk by it out the door. I miss her....
  14. Get yourself photoshop and stop doing this on this forum.
  15. Looks like your theme was on the most wanted list! One question though, how can I put my titles to the left of the screen instead of the game names? Like in your theme snap.
  16. Tijuana Flats, that's Florida isn't it? Living in California has made me a burrito connoisseur. There's a place in Stockton, a stones throw from the yard I used to work at, called Rancho San Miguel. Quite possibly the best burritos, size and price I've ever had. Oh and back on topic, did you use Photoshop for the Adventurevision cleanup or still using GIMP?
  17. Burritos, the skapegoat for 99% of procrastinators. Or, Burritos, the cornerstone of every nutritious breakfast. LOL!
  18. I just got IGT Slots Texas Tea. Figured since you guys enjoy it, why not. Thanks for the tip Krakerman.
  19. Bump bump bah bump bump, bump bump.
  20. I updated last night to 11.05 and let me tell you, holy lord its fast. Honestly, I still can't believe it. Thanks for the hard work and to all the testers. GameEx owns.
  21. This is totally off topic but I had to share. A while ago I grabbed some graffix from the Themes thread and found a cool Space Invader and some other wicked art. Today, I made one of them into a stencil. Using some contact paper and the top of last nights pizza box, I made some cheap art. Here are some of my older stencils (NES pad, Gen pad and a PSP). I had plans to make a Dreamcast one but never got around to it. Sorry about the sizes, post was having errors attaching the files.
  22. Headkaze if your reading this, how do I make the dummy .file files for Scumm? I think by renaming them, I screwed them up. Originally I thought it was working but it was for a game that wasn't changed, dummy file remained the same.
  23. That was it too. The only bad thing now, is that the database isn't up to date with the newer compatibility ScummVM 1.1.0 has. So I've gone back and started to name the dummy files and the rom folders, the actual game name. From FW to Future Wars. On all the files, artwork, snaps and titles. A bit of a time consuming project.
  24. Trial and error, trial and error. I figured it out. By removing the cache data for the emulator (in the GameEx folder, the DATA folder), in my case EMU_29, GameEx made itself right. Now all the games are listed and all is good. For future reference, remove the cache. Thanks for the help me, your welcome you.
  25. Recently, I've acquired the rest of the ScummVM games and now have a complete set. Originally I only had the 88 that was already used in the config. All the steps where done exactly as I used before to make a game run, put the actual ROM files in a folder named the game short name, made the dummy file with the short name used, launched it through ScummVm, and then tried it in GameEx. Only problem is it still shows the original 88 games and none of the newer set I have installed. I've tried searching but only found threads about setting up Scumm. Anybody have a clue?
