It works on mine, just configure the controls and then run it. Only bad thing is it loads to the selection screen before loading the game and I have to use my mouse to get it going.

I second that! It would look extremely clean with a big wide screen monitor on both sides. Mesk do you have the plans for this or are you going to take measurements from an existing cab?

I've never seen those red cocktail style cabs before ever. Those standup Vs. arcades I have seen. Quite a bit of those actually. In my local area Craigslist there is a few of these that pop up, Vs. Baseball and a few others. Right now there is a Playchoice 10 for $450. The red cab would be an interesting MAME to say the least.

Ok cool but which do I change, the custominput or custominput.default? Neither did the trick.

I'm going to ask the stupid question since I can't seem to find where it is to change it. The Select button inside GameEx is the 1Player start button and the Back button is my player 1 button 3 (fierce punch in fighter games). It doesn't really make a whole lot of sense why it is that why and I've always just dealt with it. I would really like to change the Back button to the 2Player start button. Where the hell is that option?! I stared at my screen for quite a while last night without finding it.

In either the Advance Config or the Setup Wizard under your MAME. There is a path you can set to show where your 3D cabinet files are. As for the link, I opened it in a new tab (Firefox) and it took me to the GameEx download page. Works fine for me.

Lincoln Logs and Legos. Never had the Erector Set or knock off brand set. Growning up we had a market that would give us a quarter for a soda can. Needless to say our area of the neighborhood was super clean. We'd trade those cans in and get a slice of pizza or play a game of Pac Man. For your Roms in MAME, try "Update List" and make sure that in the advanced config you have it set to "Only Existing Roms". As for the 3D cabs, you can grab those right off the GameEx website and put them in any folder, just make sure you show the path to them in your MAME confige. Hey! I resemble that remark! But yeah I really appreciate your help on this. I've used different .lay files, Adultery's, mine and a few others and edited them the way everyone here says to and still no dice. I've update my MESS to 139 last night thinking it was the 137 that wasn't reading it. Idk. Not a huge big deal though really.

If you decide to redump them, or aquire new images, set the .ccd file as the rom filter for the emulator. I had a similar problem with Ridge Racer and Wipeout not playing audio. Just set the filter to .ccd and those games played just fine with audio.

Mine are the No-Intro 20081109 set.

Still messing with this in MESS. Anybody have a sample .lay file they could upload? Adultery posted the exact same .lay file I have and have been tweaking.
