I switched to the iPhone earlier this year from Android and it slowly grew on me. More so after i jailbroke it and slapped some emulators in there. In my area, Califronia, there are a few different local carriers that offer unlimited service for one base price. Boost and Metro PCS. Not sure if they got those back east for you but something to look into. I have Sprint with an unlimited everything plan for $79 a month only counting lan line minutes (750 minutes which I never touch since all calls are to cell phones). This is steal considering my friends who also have smartphone get raped every month for data charges and overages.

Hey guys. I was messing around with DEmul 0.5.7 and realized I never tried to play a Dreamcast game through it. Loaded up a cdi file and was pleased with how it handled the game. I decided to set it up as an emulator with the setup wizard. Did some test command lines and nothing seemed to work. Did some searching within the forum here and noticed that it was an issue with the previous DEmul 0.5.5 and 0.5.6. Has anyone successfully got a command line to run Dreamcast games using the latest 0.5.7 WIP DEmul?

Man, that would free up a lot of space. Escpecially the newer PS2, GC systems. Mine are all currently uncompressed. I think I'll give UltraISO a spin as well. Thanks for the tip GreatFlash!

Like Null said, MUGEN Fighters Guild. They have a good breakdown of sections with new releases. You can pretty much create your own game, add characters, music and other stuff with the amount of resourses, although I have not. The config files are fairly simple to navigate to change screen res, full screen and controls. And, XPadder is your friend is you have snags like i did with my cp.

Plug it, the game is rad on iPhone just the same.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Although I probably will be working while others enjoy time off with family, throughout the year i treat every day as Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for my family, children, good health and job (even though i curse it). Also for you folks here, this is a great community. The best. Be thankful for what you have everyday, not just one day out of the year.

For an early b-day present, my wife scooped this off of ThinkGeek. It's called Arcadie. Slap your iPhone or iPod into this bad boy and you got a mini micro gaming cab with you on the go. I just wanted to share how silly awesome it is. There is a few "Arcadie" apps available from App store (currently 3, an Asteroids, Space Invaders and Pong clone) but I did plug in some iMAME4All and tried some emulators on it. Hope to see future support (especially for iMAME) with this cool gadget. For now it works great with the apps and so-so with emulators (NES.emu and iMAME). Add it to your X-Mas list.

I'm sold on the 1.8 release. Just finished configuring it and it plays great. Honestly, I was using pSX to emulate since a few games played more accurate. I'm officially changing my whole set up now to ePSXe. I tested the big graphical glitch games that made me us pSX (the Tony Hawk Pro Skater(s), Jumping Flash, etc) and they perform on ePSXe the same if not better than pSX. Plus, the plug in options is nice although I'm noobish to that aspect.

Almost forgot, make sure you do an update game list after you make thise changes.

Check this out, in the Setup Wizard under MAME setting, you can add to Don't Filter These Roms. For Killer Instict, add kinst to the list. Same for Street Fighter III (depending on if you are using a non CHD rom or the CHD) just use the zip name for each rom and make sure to use a ; between each rom.

Are you running a UI build or just vanilla MAME? I had a similar issue long time ago with my compiled 139 mame but it went away after i updated and recompile the newer MAME build.

Not sure on launching a specific game on start up but as for the attract mode, you can set a specific game as a favorite. Lets say, Mortal Kombat II. In MAME menu, select MKII and then hit Add To Favorites. Then in the Setup Wizard, you can change the setting to display favorites in attract mode. The more you add to favorites, the more it shows. This stands for emulators also. Hope that helps a little.
