  1. Version 20.0.18.0 released (we switched over to another way of version number, so it is easy to see when the version is released) @scutters and I worked on big changes in this release ! What do you think about our resizable form ? Or that we added a Unicode pallet for the description field ? We also changed a lot of code to save the settings from registry to a settings file, so you can backup this file, or copy it to another system. And a big thanks to @Tom Speirs for adding our custom fields to PinballX (version 4.54) Scutters and I where already busy to create custom filters. Also saved in a INI file, but it would generate an XML. I was very surprised that Tom released PBX version 4.50 with the same idea we had. Tom added our custom fields to PBX as as well within a day, so we could easily integrated our idea and use the defaults of PinballX Because we are not programmers, it took a longer time for testing and releasing this version of database manager
  2. Ah sorry. Not sure what you exactly want for size, The total size minus grill size ? So you only keep the backglass size left ? I think you must ask Stat, Hirez00 or Outhere. They make a lot of backglasses, but not sure if they use this forum a lot
  3. Though question. Depends on the backglass box you have. I have a 2 screen with real dmd. My backglass is 28" and was the almost the max I could use. But I see some that put the backglass in portrait mode to put a backglass and dmd on it.
  4. You can always downgrade pbx after an upgrade. But if you encounter issues with a new version, the community is here to help you
  5. i see new versions. Will check in the early morning. Thanks Tom for your hard work and great support
  6. hi @Tom Speirs Great new feature you put in PBX 4.50 ! It looks like you had my mind, because I was busy to do the same, but than wit XML file. This makes it soo much easier for me ! But I thought I loos my mind, because I could not get the filter in game manager to show. Checking it since you release it. It is working fine in PBX if I created manual an INI file. But I discovered that the 64bit of gamemanager still creates the XML files if a new list is created, instead of the INI file (and not with the new filter dialog) If I install the 32bit, it will create the INI file wit the correct dialog. Also the 64bit version doesn't sown the INI file in the select list, what the 32bit version does. The compiling date of the 64 bit exe is from the 14th of august (so pretty new), but think you forgot something I have some eye problems today, so not much sitting behind a computer Hope you can fix it (I didn't post any INI or LOG file, because I think you won't need it)
  7. Maybe give it a try to use 64 bit. Just install and select the 64 bit. You can always go back to 32 bit. In older version the 64 bit didnt work well, but Tom did a good job (last year?) and get all working (Only @scutters system pbx crashes with a .net error, but must be something on his crappy system)
  8. Do you have an error when connecting ? Are you able to ftp with an ftp client ? Within database manager (see download section), we displays the ftp error. Its slightly a different way as what gamemanager is using for ftp, but maybe it gives the error message that helps whats going on. No install needed, download and put all the files in a directory from the zip. Pinballx must be installed and configured on the same system
  9. Don't see any strange things in the log. Only question I had: Why are you running pinballx as 32 bit, if your os is 64 bit?
  10. The logfile is in pinballx\log directory and called log.txt. Grab this after the issue occurs
  11. Ok. Thought you talked about the wheel. Sorry for the confusion. But the same counts for the playfield videos/images
  12. Check in your wheel directory if you have an image based on the filename and on the table name. Maybe one of those is the independence day image. I should not say it, but Database Manager (see download section) saves all images that are imported to filename and can even rename media from table name to filename (filename is always unique). It also has an option to check your media files and give an overview of not used media I hope this helps to fix your issue
  13. no problem. people help me a lot too with issues I have with my Arcade and Pinball, so I try to help others with the knowledge I have
  14. Yes. My records runs sometimes hours (if Tom implements something new, that compresses better)
  15. yes. The bulk videos you can choose tto uncheck "skip existing files", or for visual pinball tables, check the "overwrite Older playfield Videos" Last option will check the datamodified of the VP table and if the datemodified of th emedia file. If media file is older than Vp table it will recreate the video
  16. Btw. Do I see correctly in your screenshot, that your pinballx running in landscape mode i stead of portrait mode ? Your ini file shows false DesktopModeEnabled=False Try to set your rotate to 270 degrees and set your playfield screen in windows to landscape
  17. Did you download the content from FTP through gamemanager or databasemanager ? Or did you download it manually ? Are those images or videos ? Try to record 1 playfield with one of the programs (both uses PinballX)
  18. Looks like your source is not correct. You have 3 options : 1) With gamemanger/pinballx database manager, you can create videos of playfields, backglass etc. It will be saved in correct (rotated) direction 2)On ftp there are also good medias. Can be downloaded through both program if you are a paid member. 3)Last option will be to rotate your source vmedia 180 degrees with ffmpeg
  19. Pic behind game ? What do you mean exactly?
  20. ah ! Sorry must be my Denglish. You are right @joyrider3774. I mis understood the question. Maybe a feature request can be made to request this ? P
  21. If uac is disabled it will not popup for admin, but do you run pinballx as admin ? If not, try it one time and check if it is closing the emulator Btw. Your logfile doesnt show a launch of fx2. Only a plain launch of pbx and closing it after 3 minutes
  22. I don't have fx2, but only purchased all the fx3 tables. So not sure if it works the same. In Fx3 the table is part of the mainprogram. If I terminates the table (thats the fx3 exe file) it will not go into fx3, but returns to pbx
  23. i I left in vp10 the quit to q, but bind the exit emulator to my physicall exit button on the cab (and esc on keyboard). I run pbx as admin and the exit button 'terminates' the vp10 process
