Anyone know the correct command line to run CoCo 3 dsk images using MESS ? This is the command line I'm using, but it keeps exiting back to GameEx: mess.exe coco3 -flop "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" -joy -now -nonewui

Does MAMEUIFX work with the high scores feature in GameEx? I don't seem to see where it displays the high scores at? I know in MAMEUIFX it has high score support using the hiscore.dat but can't figure out how to get it to work with GameEx. I installed the HiToText and I don't see anything different or options in GameEx to view it.

I know first time that has happened to me as I have done this many times in the past without a problem. Thank goodness I was able to fix it since VP is probally the most played thing on my system.

Concure!! but that isn't what I did ... I did install fresh VP and double clicking the vpt tables was not working so I had to use my method. Like you said if it works that is the bottom line.

Did that and it didn't fix the problem I went into windows explorer and changes the file assoc and that fixed it so now when I double click on a .vpt file it will run the table which is how I set up GameEx to run my tables and it works great by using shortcuts to my *.vpt tables and it runs them.

Fixed it .... problem with the file association of the vpt which I corrected and now back to working once again!!

I had to re-install Windows XP due to my hard drive went bad and now when I double click on a VP table (.vpt) it will not open inside of VP. VP runs but the table doesn't load. It did before the crash and all my vpt tables are associated with VP so I don't know what the problem is?

So what is new in 9.73? I don't see anything posted about it at all.

Just checked mine after installing version 9.71 and zsnesw is working!

Yes!!! Finally FFDShow working (Latest version). Good job guys I just tried it with Vista Codec Pack on XP and it is working now. Thanks again !!

Nope didn't work! I give up must be a bug in GameEx because I tried every which way and it keeps displaying GameEx bezel when I want it to display the bezels that I have for the game and only display GameEx bezel for the ones I don't have a bezel for. The artworkgameex directory is blank nothing in it ... I even copied the bezels I have in that directory and didn't work. I have Advanced Config pointing the artwork folder to a different MAME version and it still doesn't work. So I have to keep Don't Use Bezel selected to display my artwork. Such a shame as it would have been kool to use this option if it worked like it says.

It's set at 2 so I should change it to 1 you say.

I read those post and my problem is still the same! GameEx bezel is displaying over bezels that are in the mame artwork directory. I looked in the artworkgameex and there is nothing in that directory and I copied my artwork files to that directory and still not working.

Anyone know the command line to run Vic-20 cartridges??

When I enable the Use Bezel for Vertical Games in GameEx the problem I have is that some of my vertical games already have bezels and the GameEx one overwrites the one that I have already. Is there a way to filter the games that already have bezels so this doesn't happen?

How do you group another emulator with MAME as it doesn't have an emulator number assigned to it? Reason I want to do this as some older version of MAME some roms have a bezel that the newer version of MAME doesn't and I want to create a new emulator for older MAME and group them with my regular MAME so they are all together but when I select those certain roms it will run the older MAME instead???

Maybe that is a new feature to implement in GameEx if using a different file extension like (ex. *.crt) then run a different command line. So we don't have to create a seperate emulator for running *.crt in WinVICE or use a wrapper for that matter. Btw that command line worked Thanks!!!

Yeah Tom I ran Rhapsody then played a song and then loaded GameEx and tried adjusteing the volume on my keyboard and it adjusted the volume of Rhapsody, but not the volume in GameEx at all???? Strange .....

Before when I pressed on my keyboard the volume control up and down GameEx would display the volume bars on screen and adjust the volume, but now when I press the volume on my keyboard nothing happens in GameEx and it doesn't adjust the volume even thou I tested it on my XP Desktop it works but not in GameEx. I even tried another keyboard and didn't work only outside of xp it works.

How do you enable and disable volume control in GameEx? When I updated to 9.70 I noticed when I adjust my volume now in GameEx it does nothing before you could see a visual bars when you adjust the volume. Now it's not working???
