  1. Either, But you have to tell the gameex config which way you are doing it. First you need to set the correct path in the config: Emu2 rom path = C:\zsnesw\roms (or whatever your path is) Second you need to tell the config if each rom is in its own folder or not, mine are not so I set it like this: Emu2 roms in folders? = No Third you need to tell it whether your roms are zipped or not in the filter heading: Emu2 rom filter = *.zip (or *.bin or*.vpt, or whatever the file extension may be) If you don't set the rom filter correctly then gameex won't be able to see your games. Last but not least you need to tell Gameex the working path of the emulator's .exe emu2 working path = C:\zsnesw These are just the basic settings, to get you Emulator working, the rest you can play with once you get the emu up and running I hope this helps you out. 3. Hey Jester, here's my Jnes config. FCE and VirtuaNES were too tempermental with my roms so I changed over to Jnes. I've had no problems since. I hope this helps. 4. Hey you might want to check the jumper settings on your drives (CD and HDD) to make sure they are correct(master/slave/cable select etc). I've seen weird stuttering problems like this when the jumpers are set wrong (you'd think the drive wouldn't work at all). Just something else to check.
  5. That was it, thanks again for the hard work Tom.
  6. Hey Tom, great work with the software, I love it. I just Downloaded and installed 5.17 and got this message: 18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: GameEx: Version 5.17: Starting Log 18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: Operating System Platform: Win32NT 18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: Operating System Name: Windows XP 18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: Operating System Version: 5.1.2600 18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: Checking Registration 18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: Running Randomize() 18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: Initialising Video/MNG DLL's 18:16:02.9 11/17/2005: Unable to load DLL (PlayVideoBak.dll). 18:16:03.0 11/17/2005: ERRORS DETECTED: EXITING What should I do now? I reinstalled but I get the same message after installing. I don't use the video features anyhow, can I turn something off in the config to prevent this or does PlayVideoBak.dll load regardless of the settings? Thanks for the help.
