I think the comics would look much better in a theme

OK, my Theme is finished (finally...!). But, guess what - I am still not able to take screenshots because the Theme wont load in window mode. What I found out about this Issue: It seems to be a Hardware issue. The Theme wont load in Window mode on my Cab and on my Laptop (Same error, see log.txt in first post). If I decrease the resolution in the Theme.ini the Theme loads in Window mode - but the Objects in the Theme are pretty messed up (clear, cause its a 1920x1080 Theme). If I set the resolution of the Theme to 1600x1080 and below, the Theme loads on my Laptop in window mode (still the error on my cab). If I set it to 1200x1080 and below, the Theme loads in window-mode on my Cab too....

Oh, thats why the gradient font is not shown in Dracos ini. Well, the color of the Font was only a test. The white Font is burning holes in your eyes, as Draco mentioned. Now its time to finish the Theme... @Draco: Thanks for the input. So the "Window-mode-Issue" is a Hardware thing (Got the latest divers). This is not the first problem I have with my ATI Graphics. Maybe its time to buy a new one(nVidia).

Is the Rom-Folder for the SegaCD isos correct? Turn off the Rom-Filter, maybe this helps.

Did what you said - same errors :-( Here is a screenshot (well, sort of...) showing 2 problems: 1) The silver Font 2) The missing "unselected" bar in the list after GameEx loads. The unselected Bars appear after a keypress. I think I´ll find a workaround for those issues (or accept them).... BUT: Can I contribute to the contest without screenshots?

"GameEx wont change resolution" is already enabled....

Unfortunately GameEx switches to a default Theme when switching in windowed mode.... Maybe cause the Theme Size is 1920x1080 (which is the max resolution of the LCD)?

The "Enable Alpha Channel" did the trick, no white pixels anymore! Thanks Draco, Ill buy you a virtual beer! Only 2 things: 1) The Font color of the List is white (as it should be), but all other Font colors are silver?! 2) Cant take snapshots cause the Theme wont load in windowed mode...

The pixels seem to be transparent (I coloured the background black as a workaround for this). There is another problem with the font color (Title, Selection, List Num and Menu have another color than the List itself. Unfortunately I cant post a screenshot cause...I dont know how..... I only get a black screen when pressing "print screen" for screenshot.

omg..... I searched the Menus a thousand times but i never clicked options..... May I ask another question? There are plenty of white pixels appearing in most of the console-pictures (only in black regions). Those white areas are not shown in any other program, only in GameEx. Is there an easy way to get rid of this?

The Theme contest ends very soon, so I tried to create an own theme. I started Theme Editor - New Theme - Source: Wood - custom resolution: 1920x1080 I just replaced the Background and the size and placment of some Elements in the start-Template. I saved and tried in GameEx - but it wont start! Please help! Here is my log.txt Edit: Nevermind. I chose another source and now it works. Hope I get it finished soon. BTW: How do I get rid of unwanted Objects e.g. weather? log.txt

Have you tried deleting your Steam Login Data in the GameEx config?

Cant try it, because the problem was gone since I changed the hardware of the cab, but my GameEx was updated every time I was notified that a new version was available. Thanks DazzleHP!

Yes, I was using the XPadder plugin, because I thought that I could config XPadder in GameEx with it. (Well, I dont know what the plugin really does...)

Steam has also to be installed. With Steam Client (and at least one Game) installed the "Steam Games" will show up in "Emulated Games". I really recommend that you disable "auto Login/Logoff" in the GameEx config, because games load much faster without it.

Well, I replaced the new Mainboard and CPU with the old ones, reinstalled Win7 and GameEx, and guess what: Fusion is running without any problems! I even used the same ini Files, I used when the "minimized-problem" appeared. Well...problem solved, I think.....

The game is running with and without GameEx. The problem is: When I choose "Play Game" in GameEx, GameEx minimizes itself (so I´m back on my Desktop). Only after I maximize GameEx again with a click on the taskbar, Fusion is starting. This only happens with fusion. MAME is working properly.

I attached my GameEx.ini, log.txt and fusion.ini Some additional Information: Windows 7, ATI Graphics Adaptor, 2 Monitor Setup Wow, my GameEx and Emulator Setup knowledge is very.....rusty, I set up my last GameEx Cab about 6 years ago... This issue came up after reinstalling Win7 and GameEx cause I changed the PC in my new "Convertible-Pinball-Cab". I dont think that this is a GameEx bug. I think its rather .....a bug in my sight......or brain.... GameEx.ini log.txt Fusion.ini

Hello everyone! As the Topic Title says: Every time I start a Genesis Game in GameEx - GameEx minimizes itself in the taskbar and nothing else happens. When I click on the GameEx Icon to maximize it - GameEx maximizes itself and start Fusion immediately! Thanks for your help!

Cant help you with the TV, but I can recommend the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2. I have 2 of them built in my cocktail table and they work perfect.

You need a map File Download this: WinKawaks.rar and unrar it into your "\GameEx\Map Files" Directory. Now open the Advanced Configuration of GameEx, Emulator xx(Winkawaks), and add the map File on the 2nd page. or open your GameEx.ini and add MAPFile=[APP]\Map Files\Winkawaks.map to your Winkawaks config
