  1. Worked like a charm, cheers null.
  2. I recently had to reinstall windows 7 and now I need to reinstall GameEx and I want my original settings back. I backed up the entire original gameex install (not latest version, I believe its v13.00) to get my settings back. What I've done so far is, reinstalled GameEx (v13.08) and its running fine. Then I copied the original CONFIG folder into my newly installed config folder and now GameEx won't start and throws up an error about DirectX not being installed when it definitely is installed. So what do I need to do? Any advice is much appreciated. Also when I get this problem solved I'm planning to get gameex running on my laptop and was hoping I can just copy my Gameex install from my windows 7 64bit PC onto my windows xp 32bit Laptop with the settings intact. Is that possible? If so, how? Again any advice is much appreciated. Thanks. OLD Install GameExOLD.ini logOLD.txt NEW Install GameExNEW.ini logNEW.txt
  3. ok so whats the best way to update gameex? Download latest version and install over my current version? If so will I lose all my settings?
  4. I'm running neo-geo roms with kawaks and I'm using a neo-geo map file. The problem is that its not displaying "times played" & "last played". Its not a major issue, but it would be nice to have it all working. Cheers. log.txt SNK Neo-Geo.ini
  5. I'm also having the same problem with Neo-Geo roms its also not showing times played ect...
  6. Nice one KRC, I'll be using that logo so cheers. If you do ever get a high res version of the one I posted please let me know.
  7. Sorry to butt in here I thought it was better than making a new thread, I also have a similar question like the first post. I'm from the UK and I'm looking for the European Sega CD logo (Mega CD). I've looked around but best one I found is low res and a bit choppy around the edges and doesn't look good in gameex. Does anybody have a clean higher res better than the one below? It would be much appreciated
  8. So does your copy of gameex need to be registered for your tag to show games? (sorry I'm new)
  9. All sorted now thanks to you guys, much appreciated Loving gameex its a great program with top support, I'll definitely show my support by registering my copy. I got a question about that... I'm gonna set this up for a gaming cab but also want a copy on my laptop. So would I have to pay the registration fee twice?
  10. Thanks for your help I've got the neo-geo running up and running perfectly. But still have a problem with the sega cd, the roms aren't showing up in gameex. What is the correct way to set up the rom folder? I have it as: C:\Roms\Sega CD\Roms\ Then each rom has its own folder and inside that i have .iso or.bin .cue & .mp3 or .ape Sega CD.ini
  11. Thanks for the welcome. I installed the Map file you provided and it worked wonders, and I learned something new. so cheers. As for question 1, I changed the setting to "true" but still getting black screen. Any other suggestions would be really helpful. So annoying using task manager + restarting gameex. And if someone could point me in the right direction for the Sega CD set up, I didn't see anything in the Command-Lines, and MAP files thread. Surely its supported by gameex, right?
  12. Hi, I'm new here. Just started using GameEx and I'm really enjoying it, I've set up 5 emulators so far and there working great. I'm now adding another emulator Nebula for the Neo Geo roms, but I'm having 2 problems. 1. When I use ESC to exit Nebula I get a black screen, but gameex is still running (I can hear it using arrow keys) 2. The rom names are abbreviated e.g ninjamas=Ninja Master's. The abbreviation comes up in gameex, so how do I get the full name (tried re-naming the rom but then nebula doesn't recognise it) Also any tips for setting up the Sega CD? Its working in Windows with fusion. The roms aren't visable in gameex. Many thanks in advance. GameEx.ini log.txt SNK Neo-Geo.ini
