  1. As mentioned in another Thread: Display of the Instruction Card and/or Flyer instead of the Loading screen So there would be an individual Loading Screen for each table
  2. Wow, thats what I call a Virtualisation-overkill...
  3. I could imagine that this would be nice in an arcade than a pinball cab. To be honest I don't know where I should place that 4th Monitor in my cab... imho it would be more comfortable if e.g. the instruction cards would be shown as loading screen while loading the table.
  4. You can easily create a screenres.txt with the Editor: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bfrae6fh07gdjda/B2S_SetUp.zip The screenres.txt has to be in your tables folder. 1024x768 is the resolution of your playfield? Make sure the resolution set in VP are the same as in your windows display settings
  5. The Script of the VP Table starts the B2S Backglass, not PinballX. Am I right that the issue is that the Backglass stays on when exiting the Table with PinballX? I recommend switching from b2s to db2s Backglasses anyway.
  6. Glad I could help you out!
  7. I don't use compatibility mode on X and VP on my Win8.1 Machine. Try switching it off. There is no reason running VP in compatibility mode when you are expecting no issues running it normal. Also try assigning the VP exit button to the same button as exit emulator in X. Please post your pinballX.ini and log.txt so we can help you easier.

    No DMD

I just found an ahk script at a different forum which waits for the "hglass1" application and sends it to the background. Well, I don't know if links to another forum are allowed (probably not), so I uploaded it to my dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/s/q6g55go3onm369d/VpmToFront.rar The exe file is the compiled script. If you don't want to use that exe, install ahk and compile it yourself (you'll fin the ahk file in the archive). Just put the exe in your startup folder and your problems should be gone - hopefully...
  9. Try turning off the compatibility mode

Do you use XP, Vista, Win7 or Win8?
  11. Hi! Is there a way to update my Gamecard when running a table with PinballX?

    No DMD

Does this only happen when starting a table with PinballX? Could you paste a screenshot of your windows display settings? The Playfield should be #1 and the Backglass #2 in windows settings Also the Backglass monitor should be placed on the right side of the Playfield monitor (also in windows settings, not in your cab ;-) ) Edit: Oh, just forgot: Do you have a 2 screen or 3 screen setup?
  14. I had the same problem, but unfortunately I can't remember how I solved this issue. Try assigning the exit emulator button to the same button as exit in the VP settings. Double Check that the exit button is not assigned to another function too. I also noticed a strange exit-behavior of VP when running in XP Combatibility mode. I simply turned it off - no compatibility mode needed for VP. Which OS and VP version do you use?
  15. Well, I simply changed the VP and PinballX Keys to the default Keys of the Keywiz, so I don't need the Uploader any more (now I know why many people use an iPac instead of the KeyWiz)... I am very happy with the 26 seconds, so I won't tune the startup any more
  16. I disabled the auto startup in the Pinball Settings and used the Task Sheduler to start PinballX, FutureDMD and the Keywiz Uploader at startup FutureDMD with a 5 sec delay and PinballX with 7 sec (otherwise they would be shown on the wrong screen). Now my Cab and PinballX are up and running in 26 Seconds (instead of 46). The only problem left ist the Keywiz uploaded because it seems that the Uploader Window needs focus to upload.
  17. My Cab already boots to Desktop instead of the Metro Shell (Otherwise PinballX won't do a "clean" autostart). I think the delayed start of some services is a good idea, I´ll try it next year...
  18. I knew that its no PinballX issue, but I hoped that there is a trick to start it earlier. Well, I´ll use a Loading screen as wallpaper and hide the icons and the task bar to hide windows as good as possible.
  19. Hi! I installed PinballX on my Win8.1 Cab and everything works fine (Incredibly easy to set up frontend). PinballX is started at Windows startup too, but is there a way to start PinballX a little bit faster? Don´t get me wrong, its not the loading time I want to shorten, its the time when PinballX is started, because the Desktop is shown about 10-15 sec until the PinballX loading screen appears
  20. Hmm.... I just tested FDMD 1.7 and it works fine with PinballX on my machine... Try starting PinballX and FDMD s admin, maybe it works
  21. Do you use a directb2s, b2s or uvp Backglass for sttng? Which sttng table do you use? Which version of VP? Have you already tried to disable the db2s DMD (if you use a db2s backglass)?
  22. I had the same issue in FP. Changing the order of the screens in the windows settings solved this problem
  23. Are you sure, you set up the Paths correctly? In all emulators your Paths are D:\Media\ps1 But in Visual and Future Pinball your Paths are D:\ps1 without the "Media"
  24. Aren´t the rules a Frontend (e.g. hyperpin) thing? I dont use Hyperpin and the R key does exactly nothing in VP
  25. Hello and welcome! You can edit every theme with the theme editor. Here you can move and resize the Gamelist and you can resize the previews to full-size.
