  1. Why so complicated, I simply installed an on/off switch right behind the coindoor....
  2. Some specs of your machine would be helpful. Do you use the DirectX9 Version (9.9.0) of VP?
  3. LEDwiz support for PinballX would be nice. I know there are scripts for turning the outputs on and off, but some flashing and solenoid knocking due attract mode for example would be great!
  4. I tested BAM with Kinect for hours - I didnt get warm with it so I decided not to use BAM (or FP). The Ledwiz support is terrible and much more important for me than the head tracking. What the hell are you guys doing when playing pinball? I am standing more or less still in front of my cab so head tracking is completely unnecessary - but maybe thats just me... Also I have 2 speakers in my backbox only playing the rom-sounds and 2 speakers right under the playfield only playing the mechanical table sounds - I dont think FP could manage that imho many tables are looking much better in VP than in FP But it is only a matter of taste and how your priorities are set, there is no "better" emulator so everyone should try both
  5. Could someone post a video of his/her real DMD in action? Would love to see that nice thing!

    litlle problem

    1) I had the same issue with Win8. This is caused by the video drivers when PinballX is launched too early. Starting PinballX 2 or 3 seconds later should solve the issue (You can manage this by disabling autostart in PinballX setup and set up the autostart manually with the windows task scheduler (you can add a start-delay here) 2) Do you run PinballX and Visual Pinball as admin? Which VP Version do you use? (I recommend 9.9.0)
  7. Wow, this is incredible strange. Could you post a bootlog? (msconfig --> Boot --> Bootlog /// Restart your Machine /// You´ll find the log here: C:\Windows\ntbtlog.txt.) So we should see if Windows starts (or at least tries to start) PinballX
  8. The BAM settings are saved when BAM is closed regulary. PinballX kills the BAM process, so the settings wont be saved! To make things a little easier for you: - Open a Table with BAM (NOT with PinballX) - Resize the Backglass, the the DMD on your Backglass Screen is out of the screen and the Backglass has the correct size - Exit BAM - There is a Subfolder in your BAM Directory, which contains all your Table configs (like the Backglass Dimensions). Copy the cfg file you just created from that directory into your BAM directory. - Delete or rename the default.cfg in the BAM directory - Rename the cfg you copied into the BAM directory to default.cfg Voila! Now every Backglass has the size you set in the table you started in the first step. You will still need to adjust the size of the Backglasses of all your tables by hand - but its easier to adjust the size if it is more or less correct. Most important: Do NOT start your FP tables with PinballX if you want to change any settings (at least if you want them to be saved)
  9. Thumbs up!
  10. You can get rid of the wheels background quite easy (its only a image file in PinballX folder (PinballX\media\images\underlay.png) Dont know if it works (and I know it is a lot of work), but have you tried to resize the icons manually and import them in game manager again?
  11. Try setting up a startup task with the task sheduler, this should work. (Instructions how to set up a task are here )
  12. The problem is, that there is no straight forward way to set up PFX2.... There are different Versions of PFX2 and if the ahk script is working or not depends on the tables you purchased...
  13. Hi! Some more information (at least your OS) would be useful... Do you run PinballX as admin?
  14. I´m pretty sure the beer solved it
  15. Oh yes, this makes sense, I only misunderstood the original names part.... Well, it was much easier to import all the tables in game manager and rename their filenames so they match the gamename instead of typing every Filename into the Gamemanager and renaming the db2s files to match the name of the tables. BTW: Please delete the User "Censored" - I forgot to write down the Code, so I had to register again (Censored_DCP)... Thanks you so much for the pinemhi plugin - really great work! The Challenges are a great idea too!
  16. Horray, finally DX9 support for VP !

  17. Uhm...how do I test if its working or not? (The homepage does not show my Score from atm as "last score submitted") Does pinemhi work with VP 9.9?
  18. I dont know if it has something to do with the issue, but your Primary Displays resolution is 480 x 720 ?
  19. If this happens only on db2s tables, try disabling the db2s DMD in the db2s settings. Also try a newer Version of VP (e.g. the great new DX9 Version)
  20. I don´t think that the wireless keyboard causes the issue (My Logitech Wireless Keyboard/Touchpad works very well). Have you tried assigning left/right to other keys in the PinballX Setup? Maybe PinballX loses focus, so try switching with alt+tab to another app ant then switch back to PinballX
  21. Its possible to use a 42" in a standard size cab too, but it is more complicated and more work than using a 39"...
  22. Online Highscores. An option to compare your Scores with other PinballX users(e.g. Showing a Top5 on the playfield monitor in table selection screen)

    Pinball FX2

You would rather download a cracked PBFX2 Version than adding 2 lines to the script ? Those things like the popup are annoying, but that is definately exaggerated. If you don´t want the popup add the lines or buy an $10 WLAN Dongle to get your cab online. The Win8 Version (App-Store) has no offline mode at all, so don get mad because of the window. I´d rather close a window than being forced to insert a CD/DVD. If you can´t live with that you definately have to switch to consoles, we live in 2014 where almost everyone is online
