  1. Here's the SNK Neo-Geo map file based off the Neo-Geo 20080505 dat found at Logiqx's site.
  2. Use the map file called [Arcade] WinKawaks.map and it will give you what you're looking for.
  3. Hey Brian! Maybe you should put something about -tripplebuffer in the faq. I've seen you repeat yourself about it many times. Just a thought.
  4. I agree with this one. I use Esets software as well. I use Smart Security which based off of nod32 and includes spyware protection as well. Haven't had any problems while using it and agree with GreatFlash about resources. I use to use AVG and quickly switched after a recommendation from my good friend.
  5. Good job. Timing shouldn't be off if you scripted correctly. Just be careful with your coding. If you need help then let me know. Also you could script it to use zip files as well for users who aren't registered users.
  6. Oops. Wasn't by my computer. My mistake. Nice save Tempest!
  7. It can easily be done with autoit or autohotkey.
  8. They are in the icons folder found in the theme your using. Now the imported setups won't always point to the right name so you have to know the image name to use the correct one.
  9. This is the command line to use for nestopia and then just point all folders to where they need to go. Nestopia.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"
  10. Just a reference for everybody. That's true. Virtual Jaguar does not like .jag files. It explains why in the readme. Also about Project Tempest, it doesn't like commandline parameters so only way to get working smoothly through GameEx would be through a wrapper. Unless someone has come up with a way then please post for other users.
  11. SNES >> ZSNES N64 >> Project64 NES >> Nestopia The import is for reference only. You have to manually edit the paths to where your emulator and roms are.
  12. If not working with those settings then could be your roms. Have you verified them at all? Also have you tried running outside of gameex? Run from command prompt and see what errors you get.
  13. It's better to create a wrapper to do it all instead of using GameEx zip support. Simply unzip all the needed files (tables & libraries) to a temp directory. Then wait for the process to close and delete the files. GameEx will run it smoothly. IMHO it's the best way. Then you'll only have one file that does everything you need it to do. Thanks for the tip though. Wasn't aware that all the files could be in same directory. Thought that the library files had to be in their respective folders. That goes for Future Pinball as well.
  14. Awesome Tom. Will be one of the first to get. Thanks!
  15. Well can use Advanced Configuration or Setup Wizard in the mame settings. However you pointed to your directories when you set up mame. Check the commandline settings and copy and paste it here so I can have a look see.
  16. What's your commandline? Maybe you're not calling your controls correctly.
  17. Why not just rename Start Page Name of the emulator to include the year in front of it so it will sort by year like you're wanting?
  18. VisualBoyAdvance already has that capability. Just need to apply a skin.
  19. LOL. Sorry buddy! I'm not that fast. Only about 98 + words a minute. Would be faster till I broke my finger and never got it fixed so dropped my speed. LOL.
  20. I'm not greatflash, LOL, but here's how to do it. 1. Right Click on folder 2. Click Properties 3. Click Advanced in the General Tab 4. Check Compress contents to save space 5. Click OK
  21. Taken from the pSX emulator forum. Q. Why is everything so blurry? I already set the resolution higher, but it doesn't help! Can I make the graphics look nicer in pSX? A. pSX does not, and will not, attempt to enhance the graphics of your PlayStation games, but rather, attempts to faithfully reproduce their original graphics because the goal for pSX is to make an accurate emulator that reproduces the gaming experience from the real PlayStation. As such, the games running on pSX will not look much better than on your television screen. The most you can do is enable bilinear interpolation, which smooths the image out when stretching it (not unlike how the image looks on a TV when it stretches the image). If you want an emulator that does enhance graphics, pick any PlayStation emulator that supports the PSEmuPro plugin spec (which includes ePSXe, PCSX, SSSPSX, PSXeven, and many others). I personally the pSX emulator for a few reasons. It's very easy to setup and runs great. Also like the support of running compressed images for saving space (cdz). So it's all about what you're trying to do. Run true emulation or make it look pretty.
  22. I get what you're saying. A few handheld emulators have that capability but I never use it. But the ones that don't, GameEx don't have that capability. But yes there may be a way to script this. Might be a complicated thing to do but maybe not. Never gave it a try. But a script IMO is the only way to accomplish this. The script would have to display an image in the background (handheld image) and then position the window in the correct place. Which emulators in particular are you wanting to do this to?

I got you tempest. What extension do your current ROMs have? I would rebuild them instead of fixing just to be safe. Just IM me and I'll guide you through it.
  24. Cool. Have fun!
  25. Running the same ini posted by mightypeniz? If so then that commandline is incorrect. Try this. mess.exe apple2c -s6d1 "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" -joy -now -nonewui
