  1. I use swedish non-english letters (, å, , ä, , ö) when creating custom menus. The letters is displaying correctly in the menus, but not in the top header (the largest letters on the top). For example the swedish word for Search: "Sök" becomes "Sk". It's not a font issue. In the Theme Editor i can see that Trebuchet MS is used, which has the swedish letters. It must be some kind of programming issue. Maybe other languages with non-english characters has the same problem. It would be nice if this could be fixed.
  2. Hi, I think this is a great piece of software. I have a suggestion for improvement: Some names are too long to be shown in the result list. It would be great if you could resize the window, so you don't have to scroll horizontally.
  3. Great news, Tom. And the new Parent/Clone support too. Looking forward to the next release...
  4. I know this is off topic. But, is it possible to set up when using No-Intro sets? for example: to show EU flag when "(Europe)" or "(E)" exists in the rom name. to show USA flag when "(USA)" or "(U)" exists in the rom name.
  5. JK1974: How did you set up the region flag icons?
  6. You are right, something was wrong with my gameex.ini. Maybe from an earlier version. I've made a new configuration file from scratch based on the default gameex.ini and now the playlist gets randomized every time.
  7. The "Shuffle Playlist" shuffles the playlist, but plays the songs in the same order everytime GameEx starts. The only way to "reshuffle" is to add/remove songs to the playlist. Is there a way to make GameEx "reshuffle" the playlist every time it starts?
  8. I don't use a folder called "artworkgameex'", I've neved had. The path is correct "L:\Emulation\Systems\MAME\artwork". I've made a "find in file"-search for "artworkgameex" to see if it existed in a configuration file somewhere, in the MAME folder and the GameEx folder. I did find this line in a file called runitgame.bat: mamepgui.exe 1942 -rompath L:\Emulation\Systems\MAME\Games -triplebuffer -hwstretch -nowindow -joy -noswitchres -artwork -artwork_directory artworkgameex and I found a folder called "artworkgameex'" in the MAME folder, which I never had seen before. I deleted both the file and the folder and tried to run a game from GameEx again, it didn't work. But now I noticed that GameEx had created both the runitgame.bat-file and the folder. GameEx seems to be making that folder name up from nowhere. I'v e tried deleting the artwork path entierly in GameEx.ini, disable/enable artwork in MAME. Nothing helps. Btw, when starting games from the MAME UI, every game works, with or without artwork. It has to be some kind of strange bug. The GameEx version is 9.42. /Niclas
  9. MAME games that have artwork won't start. In the GameEx.ini I have this line: MameOptions=-triplebuffer -hwstretch -nowindow -joy -noswitchres It works fine when running a game without artwork. log.txt: But when starting a game with artwork, here is from log.txt again: Where does the "-artwork -artwork_directory artworkgameex" come from? "-artwork" isn't even a valid command line option. I've tested to run it from the command prompt and MAME gave me this message: I did register GameEx yesterday and I have made some major changes to the configuration files. Does it have something to do with that? Or is it a bug? Can I disable artwork? /Niclas
