  1. lol day one after release and you point out it doesn't fit anymore But nice to see that people still appreciate these. I will see, it is really a lot of work and I don't have the logo in each PS file in a seperate layer. But I'm sure, I'll find some solution - sooner or later. But now let me first install PBFX3 myself, I didn't, yet Edit: much worse is, that my Cab decals are now outdated, too - 2 months after I applied it. There is also a PBFX2 logo on it
  2. maybe this problem: Read first and last page,it is enough
  3. cool, had this problem also. Tonight planned to fix this (yes run as admin and stuff like this lol) and now here I find the 3 clicks solution! Great, thanks all involved
  4. I was only referring to PinballFX2, which does not work with my analogue plunger. Maybe I'm wrong, but a solution for my system would interest me, too. I use a Pincontrol 1, but there is no setting in PBFX2, where I coud use this.
  5. IIRC PinballFX does not support an anlogue plunger (or any anolgue input)...
  6. ^^ for point 2 i suggested once to have "start table" when short pressed and "menu", if longer pressed. Then even one button (like in my cab) would be enough.
  7. Yeah, i read about it and that sounds rather cool. I'm totally interested in this, but not at all familiar with that dofLINX stuff (only DOF) so I will soon ask silly beginners questions here
  8. I think, he meant images, not videos ... from whatever reason. No,I don't have those without grill, but you can crop the preview images (height 1200 I think) from here.
  9. @TerryRed i proposed anoher indea addressing this here: I still think some dfferenciation would be great (without having to change the settings).
  10. Huh? I thought it was clear now, that it was a misunderstanding (s. my post below) and I had already apologized. And now I should still find myself in a situation others think I'm an asshole? An asshole? Vielleicht solltest Du Deine Einstellung gegenüber Nicht-Muttersprachlern mal ein bisschen korrigieren.
  11. @rablack97 yes, I have all tables in the visual pinball system (dafault to VPX) and VP9 and PM5 are tagged with the aternateexe
  12. Final results for me: all tables formerly problematic start correctly now from the VP system. No problems anymore. @Draco: completely misunderstod te "beef" part (not a native speaker)
  13. @Draco: no worries.. Ok, Nascar and Taxi are starting corretly for me (btw still using the PBX.exe from above not the official update), will try out all tables soon. Funny observation: Taxi does NOT start anymore from the custom system, so @kds70 are you sure you transferred it back to the VP system?
  14. just tried to explain, what was happening. The rest is on you... I'm pretty sure, Tom can handle himself, if my "beef wasn't with Tom". If, it was at all.
  15. true, I'm pretty sure it was somewhere here and as I wrote I suggested to ask Tom directly... Maybe I find the one I mean again. Edit: found the thread again, and no it was not here. Anyways, don't know, what thread "in the gamex forum" he's referring to... http://vpuniverse.com/forums/topic/2869-b2s-server-new-feature-aspect-ratio/?do=findComment&comment=33275
  16. Cool, for me the new exe works! I only tested for one formerly problematic table, but I think you found the bug. Thanks a lot. And btw, I suggested in some thread rather long ago, where people discussed some weired workaround, if it wouldn't be better to address this to you directly and was told, that you already know about this, which was obviously not true. That's probably where the confusion started, so apologies.
  17. @Tom lol, it takes MUCH more, before I *hate* somebody, I was only disapointed, because people with the problem discuss this here, at VPF and facebook and you might be the only one, who has all the knowledge, but are silent. So, no bad feelings anymore, ok? Well, I disabled auto configure and yes it is because of true fullscreen, but I and others need that to avoid stutter. What most of us think and me too is, that PBX doesn't give VPX enough time to completely start and load a table, because it happens with those of bigger file sizes. And the solution or better suitable workaround is here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=37607#entry376697 In short: - create a custom system in PBX - set it up like PBX but use "custom system" - transfer all problematic tables from the Visua Pinball.xml to the new xml - transfer all media to the new locations
  18. Oops, sorry I did not mean you at all. Just the other way round, I apreciate a lot that there are people trying to help. What I do not at all apreciate is, that somebody, who has most possible info does NOT comment.
  19. yes, sure, my directb2s has the same file name as the table and is in the table directory, like I do this since a few years... For me, I found some good solution, so for me everything is ok. And no, I won't post it here. Why? Guess.
  20. e.g. this one: http://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/taxi-williams-1988/ and I have a similar setup for VPX in PBX. Also 2 monitor sytem...
  21. I'm pretty sure it is a timeout problem of PBX giving VPX not enough time to start a table completely and read, which dB2s should be opened. Because it only happens for bigger table files. @Tom Speirs ??
  22. found anything in the ini and log files, that might help, solve this problem? Desperately seeking a solution.
  23. Castle Storm: no grill with grill --- HQ ---
  24. good idea, maybe you can find something in the log. Btw the table opened in the log (Taxi) is one of those problematic ones.... ini and log.zip
  25. ok, I tried it, the backglass of a problematic table actually started - with a lot of flicker, but it started. ONCE BUT: now it's getting even weirder: PinballX messed up my keys setiings; start game is set to enter instead of 1 and Plunger is set to Menu (?) instead of enter. And the worst: it always does that now, also when I do not run task manager in background. So now PBX is completely unusable for me. What the hell is PBX doing when starting a table? Edit: the messed up keys were actually my mistake, I had set "auto configure" to yes, so this problem is solved, not the basic one... and runnung task manager in background only worked once, but never again.
