  1. Sorry. I am not very good at CMD line. Will need some assistance.
  2. Precisely. ROMs are likely dated. But they run through the mame interface just fine.
  3. Any other ideas? Again mame runs perfectly through the mame interface. Must be some small thing thats off.
  4. Can having two PBX's installed be the issue?
  5. Still not working. Here is the log. Many thanks again for the help. log.txt [SETTINGS].log
  6. " Sorry, that's not the issue. I documented it before but the issue is with PinballX you should not specify the table path as the rom path as it detects the zips. Change the table path to something else with no roms in and you should be good. " So do I revert back to Rompath Roms in the mame.ini? And table path should point to some bogus folder?
  7. The above did not work. Would this be the correct parameter: [TABLEFILE]-ROMPATH "c:\mame32\roms"
  8. Like this: rompath c:\Mame32\roms hashpath hash samplepath samples artpath artwork ctrlrpath ctrlr inipath .;ini;ini/presets fontpath . cheatpath cheat crosshairpath crosshair pluginspath plugins languagepath language swpath software
  9. Thanks for the reply Tom. Could you please be a bit more specific on how to do that?
  10. ok. I will give that a try. Thanks
  11. " Is C:\MAME32 .205 a valid path on your system? Maybe try renaming it and remove the space and the . in the folder name and rename it MAME32_205 or similar. Also, try running from the same PinballX as your Vp10 as running to versions may be what is hinking things up. " Probelm remains. "I agree with Drago that the path name is a bit odd and that you rename it. I should also recomment to install the 32bit version of pbx instead of 64bit" Okay, I renamed it. Problem remains. Stuck on "loading" So I should run 32bit PBX, on my 64Bit system? Just want to be clear. " Yes, i would just keep the folder MAME. You also don't need 2 instances of PBX because you can have a MAME.xml and MAME ONLY.xml which then you can isolate only those in the game listing of PBX " I would really prefer to have the VP PBX, and the MAME PBX separated if possible. I can only play one, or the other, at a given time. When I play MAME on the pincab. I remove the lockbar, and install an arcade control panel, rendering pinball pretty mnuch useless. In short, I want to PBX's. One for Pinball. And one for arcade games if possible. Ive got Gameex arcade edition running fine, with the same settings as being used in PBX. But I would prefer the simplicity of PBX.
  12. Okay I am trying to use PBX, for MAME. SO I have checked, and I have the latest version of MAME. And all of the games can be directly launched through the MAME.exe I have set up a second PBX, in a different folsed for MAME ONLY. Hopefully there is no issue running one PBX for VP10, and abother for MAME (arcade games). I have configured MAME PBX as far as I can tell. Abd I have exported the XML from Gameex, and added it to MAME PBX. But the ROMS wont start. I can however see all of the various games in the scrolling, when PBX starts. SO I think the XML is right. Attachments below: Feels like there is some very minor thing I am missing. Thanks ALL.XML MAME.xml PinballX.ini log.txt
  13. Hey guys. I will have some time maybe tomorrow, to try these suggestions. Thanks.
  14. One more tid-bit of hopefully useful info. If you alt-tab when playing through PBX, the window "Form1" does not load though PBX. If you alt-tab within the VP editor, you will see "Form1" every single time. But this just wont load in PBX. Of course "Form1" is the window, with the DB2s backglass. SO something appears to be preventing "Form1" to load.
  15. Oh I forgot to mention. My cab plays like crap, if VP10 is NOT in exclusive full screen mode. Not using it, really cant be an option.
  16. Okay I have been chasing my tail all day, to see why I dont have any DB2S backglass...ONLY when playing VP, through PinballX. Every single table dowes load the DB2S backglass, through the VP10 editor as it should. But again, if you play VP through PinballX, the DB2S backglass will NOT appear 90% of the time. ALso seeing other weirdness too. I have traced this issue down to the "exlusive full screen" setting in VP10. If the setting is off. Then you will see the DB2S backglasses through PBX. But if the setting is on, you typically will NOT see the DB2S backglass, playing VP through PBX. So is there something I am missing here? Or is this a bug? Many thanks
  17. Took a look and its over my head for sure. I will submit a request to maybe for a future build, have more flexibility (wider range) for the brightness adjustment, without all of the "hack-ory".
  18. Not sure its a setting. The desktop, games, vp, internet all look fine. Pinballx vids are very very dark. I could be wrong, but i think pbx auto dims those vids just a bit. There is also an adjustment for this in settings. But even the brightest adjustment, is still too dark. Any way to bypass this NJ possible auto darkening?
  19. Any way to make the table vids NOT dim down when browsing. Can they remain normal brightness?
  20. Just found it. Many thanks.
  21. So I have made color brightness adjustments to the Pincab. But now, when browsing the tables, the table videos are much too dark. I have the brightness adjustment in PBX settings set to 250, but that still is not bright enough. Is there another way where I can brighten up the table videos?
  22. So when adding new tables, I get this window: If I mistakingly click yes, then things get really jacked up since I have PBX configured differently from the norm. Last time, it took hours to clean up the mess. So is there a way I can deactivate this window, so it does not even appear? Thanks
  23. Yep that did it. Thanks. So what parameter in the PBX set-up, is associated with " AutoConfigure=True "?
  24. Sorry about that. Here is what you asked for: PinballX.ini log.txt [SETTINGS].log
  25. Just wondering if the devs or mods had seen this post yet. Really looking for a solution. Thanks. :)
