  1. I'm sure you will figure it out. Been awhile since you had a release. Hope to get some of the new thmes and maybe even a new core build.
  2. Understand . Sometimes life can be a b****. Just get nervous and worry about you when you get too quite.
  3. Understand . Sometimes life can be a b****. Just get nervous and work about you when you get too quite.
  4. You've made a lot of changes lately and added quite a few new game screens. Any chance of an update soon.
  5. Looks good. Great see you back "Doing that thing you Do"
  6. @Krackermsn Are you going to release a new core with all your changes in it.
  7. As I have gotten older and my eyesight worse, it been great to be able to read my comics and books on my big screen. Plus my son can read it at the same time I read it. Comics has been in my setup almost from day one.
  8. @Krakerman / Felix systems are looking good guys
  9. For some reason my work computer won't upload a file to Gameex. It says it does but never shows up. The picture I want to send you is a actual controller. Its the right size etc. I try to resent when I get home. Here is the file with the controller. Hope it helps Magnavox-Odyssey-2-Console-Set.zip
  10. Like the cart numbers. You always are going for that little extra detail. Noticed your controller is a little pale looking. Please find attached a picture of a odysessy 2 I have maybe you can adapt the controller for your theme.
  11. @krakerman I do and there's a lot less game themes to make then for the Atari 2600
  12. Thanks for the set. Would you please post your Odyssey 2 set so I can add it to my setup. Thank you
  13. Just in case any of your users need the Odyssey 2 map file Odyseey 2.zip
  14. @krakerman, do you need a map file for the Odyssey2. Also one day when you have time LOL, could you make a system theme for the regular odyssey.
  15. Looks like another great set on the horizon. I like the Raiders a lot.
  16. Latest pak has some great themes. Great work as always
  17. @Felix looks good. I Have never though of using a vertical setup. I use Gameex on our family cab, our home theater, and a laptop that the kids use in the car. I use a desktop to tweet and then transfer to all three systems. So having different setups for me can be a problem. As you develop your system, I may try it o the cab just to see how it looks. In the meantime (At least until EVO comes out), I plan on working on Krakerman setup. Just about got all map files done and hope to complete over the weekend. May be tight. Austin, Texas (About 1 1/2 hours from me) is having their annual video game convention. 25,000 square feet of video game awesomeness. If I go, it will definately limit my work on Krakerman theme. But, I'm sure he will have some new goodies coming down the pass. Have a great weekend.
  18. If all you want is eyecandy Hyperspin is the way to go. They have really concentrated on Mame game themes and system game themes. Really they only have one basic theme and system and game themes like Krakerman is trying to accomplish here. (They have default screens for games not having a game theme yet.) Looking at EVO I believe you will be able to incorporate Hyperspins themes. Even with that there are still thousands to make. And they have quite a few people making them. I have hyperspin on my arcade cab and it took a long time to setup and alot of time maintaining it. Although it is getting better with their Hypersysn program. For my television GameEx provides much more for what I want for my home system. With Krakerman theme I get what I want from GameEx and a little eye candy to boot. Will I ever have it complete. Of course not. But every little bit more I get makes it that much better. Felix looks at it as a obsession I look at it as relaxation and a goal to not complete it, but make it better. LOL By the way, I should have map files for all the systems that Krakerman has currently in his theme, plus several I have made by this weekend. Of note even if Krakerman gets all the Atari 2600 game themes done in the map file. There are still many more games not in the map file. But every one done shows how great a theme maker he is. Roughly 600-700 games in map file. On my external drive I have over 12,000 different atari 2600 roms. This includes hacks, homebrew, foreign etc.
  19. I like to spend time on my game obsession. (Cheaper than alot of other obsessions) And it fun to play all the retro games of my past. Users have been making game themes for Hyperspin now for over 2 years and they are still making them. This is the first theme that I know of in GameEx where users are all working on the same theme. This spells out alot of how great GameEx and this theme is. When EVO comes out, we will be so far ahead of the curve with this theme that alot will be possible with it. Using the placeholders I have a theme for all of the games in my setup, so I can play every game in my map file. On a alot of my systems to conserve space in my master setup I only have either the no-Intro, Hyperspin or the top 10 or 20 favorites on the setup. On my external drives I have hundreds more games for each system that I rotate from time to time. One of my afvorite things I like about Hyperspin is to go into a system and see the new game themes that have been added. I now have this in Gameex thru Krakerman theme. (Can't think of the last time I played Hyperspin) If I wasn't workingon this I'd just be doing something else. Thanks Krakerman for the time you put into this and you're right if it was up to me, I one day would like a game theme for all the system. Isn't this why we do this. Otherwise there would be no need for web sites like emumovies.
  20. I have a thought I know suprise, surprise, surprise. Lets see if krakerman would alter his theme to show all the game themes like he does for the Atari 2600. But he needs to set his theme up for all current systems in his theme with this method. He and Felix could made up the default theme for these systems. I could make the map file for all the existing systems. I could also using Tempest's program (Once I have the default themes) make the placeholder themes for all these systems. Then as Krakerman, Felix or anyone else that wants to can continue to make indivdual game themes for any of the systems. Yes there are thousands to be made but with default placeholders in place who cares how long it takes. Another thought I had was why make up indivdual game themes. Has anyone try to make up a fore ground png for a game theme that would be on top of any default system theme. Then every game would use the default system screen and have special foreground grafphics for each indivual game. This kind of follows Felix's idea but without changing anything in Krakerman's theme. Has Felex said the only difference in Atari 2600 are the coming soon, the boxart and a few graphics. If they were put on a foreground image they would cover the existing artwork etc. I currently working on map files for Colecovision,Dreamcast, SMS and Genesis.
  21. @Krakeman, way to go on the themes, keep up the good work
  22. @Felix If you don't make changes to the theme and only use the games file or map file then image 2 will start with the box if available. If not it rotates other images. I use emumovies and it does a great job of downloading the boxes. I like your idea with when you change the theme, of displaying the boxart. Indivdual themes really do make the theme pop. It's just going to take a while to get them done. But thats the fun of it and thats what makes this theme and Gameex great. It may still be awhle before EVo comes out, so the more we have done the better it will look when we convert to EVO.
  23. @ Felix Use this xml file to make your Atari 5200 Placeholders I made mine using this. But I'm limited to what I can upload right now thru GameEx, so you will have to make your own. We need placeholders now for a few of Krakerman's other system themes he has made. My wants are Colecovision, Sega Master system and Sega Genesis. I'm working on files for them now. Atari 5200.xml
