  1. These are the consoles and other systems I have in my GameEx setup (or will be adding soon). Any of these that you can include woud be very appreciated. Not sure if you have already done some of these, but I'll list the ones I don't see a background for in the theme. Arcade Sammy Atomiswave SEGA Model SEGA Naomi Taito Type X Console Amiga CD32 Atari 5200 Atari 7800 Atari Jaguar Colecovision Fujitsu FM-Towns GCE Vectrex Intellivision NEC PC Engine - TurboGrafx 16 NEC PC-FX Panasonic 3DO Sega Mega-CD - Sega CD Handheld Atari Lynx Bandai WonderSwan Color Nintendo DS Nintendo Virtual Boy SNK Neo Geo Pocket Computer Commodore 64 Commodore Amiga CDTV MSX ScummVM Hope I haven't overdone it
  2. I like that effect with the screenshots and a nice simple theme. Great stuff! So the metroICS theme is out very soon indeed. I better make my requests for which systems to include!
  3. This is a fun-looking theme. Thanks Krakerman
  4. I just figured this out! Create a layout ini named after the GameBase name. (not how it is named in GameEx, but how it is named in GameBase). Then, I simply copy/pasted the layout contents of one of the other emulator layouts, into this new layout ini.
  5. Yes, triple view would be excellent! While I'm here... Not sure if this has previously been requested, but it would be cool to have a horizontal scroll for the game list. For example, if the game list box width is too narrow, games with long names are cut off. With this scrolling feature, it would scroll to show the whole name.
  6. Just like to mention that there is a launcher for the PSP emulator - JPCSP, which you can use instead of the .bat files. A new update has added commandline launching of games. Commandline Jpcsp.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" Get the launcher here - http://www.emunewz.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=977
  7. Resolved it by changing the view until GameEx displayed it's default background, then restarting.
  8. I've just had this happened to me when changing the view for SNES. I can't get back the theme background, even after restarting GameEx.
  9. Wow! Nice theme! Just switched over to this theme, so far so good. The only thing I would say, is that I usually use a wider width games list, so that the longer named games are not cut off. Does GameEx have an option to scroll this text horizonatlly? (If not, I will make a request for it ) Edit: Actually, after trying this theme out some more, some emu backgrounds have it like the shots above. Game list on the right and wider too, which is great! (I had first chosen the Amiga system, which had the narrow games list on the left - like the first two shots)
  10. What happened to the purple theme? (I like the black theme too though )
  11. I'd say it's the second one - GameEx interpreting keys incorrectly. For example, I select L3 on my PS3 controller (button 9 in windows controller properties), but GameEx sees it as button 8. Button 8 is my start button, but even pressing that does not exit. Custominput.ini does have it as button 8 though, so GameEx is recording it the way it sees it.
  12. I use mednafen for Virtual Boy, and works well for this sytem. To configure a controller you simply hold Ctrl+Shift+1
  13. MAME Path is: C:\GameEx MAME EXE file is: Mame Mapping Magician.exe Those two lines don't look right.
  14. Just went on a "Like This" spree. Thanks for the Themes, Icons, and Plugins!
  15. I get a black image too when trying to do a print screen for GameEx in full screen. Edit: Try this (worked for me): Right-click on the GameEx.exe - properties - compatibility tab - disable desktop composition.
  16. Are all your roms in .rar ? Mine are either .zip or .7z and I also have the rom filter empty. I'd first try having nothing in the rom filter and see if your roms show up in GameEx.
  17. Much respect to hicoder for the patch and zeromus for adding it in. (Please mark this as resolved, thanks)
  18. I'd suggest you post the emulator export ini's for those you are having issues with. In Setup Wizard - Emulator Selection - Export Emulator(s) Like this... Console Sony Playstation 2 (PCSX2).ini
  19. This was some time ago, but as I remember I opened the theme in the theme editor. In the "Templates" box, compare the names to what the layout ini's in the theme folder are. The ones in the theme editor are what GameEx expects them to be named. Just to clarify, i don't mean to edit the contents of these layout ini's, just what they are named.
  20. My pcsx2 commandline is like this: pcsx2.exe --nogui --fullboot "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" Notice it has two "-" for both nogui and fullboot. For Daphne, try changing "DaphneLoader" to "daphne.exe"
  21. Yeah, I'm going to do what you said this time Sendkeys then use the group emulators option. I also got a email update on the feature request - "Patched in - ID: 3540789." So maybe a future revision will have rotation as hotkeys!
  22. Nevermind, this doesn't work in fullscreen. I was so close
  23. So, all this talk of sendkeys got me thinking... Xpadder! Xpadder can assign a combination of keys to a single button, so I mapped a button for rotation 0 and another for rotation 270. Rotation 0 Alt+V [release zone] R+Enter Rotation 270 Alt+V [release zone] R [pause] Down [pause] Down [pause] Down+Enter Both the release zone and pause time were set at 0.01s
  24. Thanks for this Adultery, I'm sure it will come in handy when I get around to setting up Pinball in GameEX.
