  1. I am a total novice, tbh The website is http://lemonamiga.com
  2. I already have AutoIt installed, so that one I guess.
  3. Can someone give me advice on how to go about creating a script, to grab screenshots (titles, snaps, box .etc) from a website. I am trying to get matching artwork for all the Amiga games, and was wondering if instead of manually downloading images one by one, that I could use a script to speed up the process. I already have quite alot of screenshots (packs from http://gbamiga.elowar.com/files), but there are still some missing.
  4. The strange thing is that it only happens with the "GameExIsLoading.png", all the other bakgrounds are centred correctly. I even went to the trouble of making all the backgrounds 1920 x 1080 so that it wouldn't be stretched, but still the loading background shifts to the right! Anyway, it's not such a big deal (I've gotten use to it)
  5. Didn't work for me Does anyone else run GameEx on a HDTV, so that I can compare with?
  6. I have a similar problem where the startup background is shifted to the right. Are you running GameEx on a HDTV (1080P) by any chance? My PC is setup for dual display, where the main display is the HDTV and the secondary display is a 1280 x 1024 LCD PC monitor. The backgronud is centred when GameEx is run on the secondary display.
  7. This will make setting up GameEx very user friendly! Thanks

    Theme Question

Image 1 is snap/video path and image 2 is title snap path. So whatever those paths are pointed to will display in the relevant image.
  9. Nice looking skin Ninja! Can I ask how you moved the menu line (Name, Manufacturer, Biography .etc)? I have tried to position it just above the list box, but it won't work!
  10. I have the loading background and start background as the same picture. When GameEx is loading, the loading pic is shifted to the right and when the start page appears the pic is centred as it should be. I use GameEx on a 1080P HDTV and both pics are 1920 x 1080 resolution. Any ideas why this happens?

    Null DC 1.03

In the Null DC readme it says: "- If you are asked to enter the date and time every time you try to run a game then the flash file might got corrupted. Try going to the "data" folder and deleting the "dc_flash_wb.bin" file. This will probably fix the problem. If not, then the original dc_flash.bin file you provided is corrupted"
  12. Thanks, that worked! Can't believe how easy that was The reason I am using a virtual drive is that some of the redump.org games have a .cue file with multiple .bin files and I can't get PSX emu to run these using "open CD image".
  13. I fixed the not loading problem by removing the "[virtualdrive}" part from the commandline. Now the game only shows in the top left portion of the screen. This is why I wanted to use PSX emu, I knew using ePSXe would be troublesome Fixed the screen issue by adding -slowboot to the commandline.
  14. I've switched from the PSX emu to ePSXe and am using the command - ePSXe.exe -nogui[-virtualdrive] Also I am using: Launch Before - "C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"[RomPath]\[RomFile]" Launch After - "C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -unmount 0 While this works for most games, some games just return back to GameEx. I'm going to look through the forums to see if anyone else has had similar issues.
  15. How can I get psx emu to load a game (that is mounted with daemon tools)from the E: drive. I can load a game by using "Insert CD Drive" then pointing to the E: Drive manually, but how can I do this automatically within GameEX?
  16. Got my email too! Thankyou circo
  17. Does this discount only apply to new registrations only?
  18. When viewing mame, it seems to be able to show a different picture (marquee) than what is shown in the image list (title). is this a unique feature only for mame? Here's what I mean:
  19. Have you tried "advanced configuration" - then by selecting "Basic MAME Setting" and seeing if all your paths are correct. Here is mine for example:
  20. Is there a way to have image lists to show titles, and the previews to show snap(or video), and underneath this the box front (instead of the titles pic). Does this make sense?

    wmv to avi

Yeah, there are a lot of options! I'm just gonna use the setup wizard and see how things go.

    wmv to avi

    Thanks BrutalDeluxe this looks good!

    wmv to avi

Which video formats can GameEx play, when using video previews (instead of snaps)? I have a collection of the "emumovies" for some systems, which are in avi format and these work well. I also have videos for other systems that are in wmv format and these do not play within GameEx. Can someone recommend a program to batch convert them to avi?
  24. I guess I could point to box art in the titles path.
  25. Thanks Tom, that works! I did look at the editor, but weren't sure that was the way I should go about it.
