nice find! be interested to see how it looks behind defused marquee plexi

I wouldnt worry about ones being in there tgat are the original image name as long as a correctly named dupe is in there too. Whilst itbis hard work, tgeres something very satisfying about hunting down a screenshot or advert and snatching a logo from it... My understanding is that the ge databases are wip so more devs may be added in time. Therefore list will have to be expanded and revisited anyways, so time enough. You never know, some others may join us in our search! Oncecwevecran through tge list one last time, ill publish to the ge ftp. Bloody tablet.

OK.. so couldn't help it.... Ouch... 14 logos in 3 hours >.< My eyes hurt. These took some real scouring. Also, on the edited versions, applied some pixel-art filters.... @ around 5 logos per hour... I'm seriously going to have to rethink trying to finish this comprehensively. Roll on the publisher logos - they're gonna be easier, surely! Nice bit is that GameEx is going to have dev logos not available on any other site One thing that's struck me from this exercise is the underhand practices of publishers/licensers and bigger companies. These small dev teams put in all the hard work and it's every other bugger's logo splashed all over the art + promo. I shouldn't be surprised, I s'pose... (and yeah, i know nitsubishu (SP) is easy to source - weirdly - we'd missed it off!)

Don't think I had too many issues with it. There was some fine tuning to do afterwards - kinda worked like a fresh instal. If I recall, I had some lightgun drivers installed that were non-certified, so had to go through the whole process of installing them again and booting Windows into test-mode. Oh, and I use Classic Shell to make it desktop - had to re-install that. Think that was it - maybe a few other minor re-installs etc.. but wasn't a drama or crisis.

Tthurman is a sourcing machine!!!! The last 500 are proving tough!!! Down to the more obscure single title/platform devs now..... Need you guys' expertise. We're beyond simple moby/bomb searches... now having to route around specific system fansites for boxarts/ads/magazine scans.... So, any recommendations for specific fansites? Here's some good ones found so far: C64 - Lemon Amiga - AmigaLemon Spectrum - World of Spectrum Atari - Atari Age Sega - SegaRetro (although bit limited on the devs) Any equivalent sites you guys know of for: Nintendo Playstation another sega? another atari rather than search/trawl and find the 'wrong one' thought I'd ask here, first.

Whoa! I'm terrible for asking the questions that shouldn't be asked - how much did you pay for it? -
Phew! Just re-read the post and thanks for bearing with me on that one, Flash! You have the patience of a monk on hold, and now the developer logos project is flying So, in anticipation of devs finishing - how much work would it be to provide a similar list for Publishers?

Nice touch with the selector bar.

My mind has just been blown by emulation recently

Damn - just read back - I think us Brits do it subconsciously - it comes from being fed a diet of "Carry on" films alongside terrible 70s double-entendre television. -

Damn right. Bagatelle was a bugger to emulate - all that wood and those pins... -
Surprises me that no-one's nailed the TypeX yet - I thought that'd be a prime target for emulator coders.

My GT 3+4 are running fine. GT4 took a bit of settingup, mind - you have to change some of the options (clamping etc) + there's a way to avoid all the junk on race start - detailed notes in the pcsx2 game setup wiki... Dunno - could be a system thing. My specs (and please don't think I'm waving my specs about and saying "look at the size of this!!")

That's a great idea, Adultery (although I've got no experience of OS emulators). Wonder how it would handle the ones that auto-rotate (the schmups etc)?

My waistline also follows Moores law... and my patience with age appears the same, but inversely proportional. -
I had about 80% of the games working at one point. Then a lot seemed to stop working... Win or GPU updates... I dunno! Such a shame thought, cos I loved the Taito X/2 games - especially the schmups, Daz! Can't remember which one now - but tried the console ports and they're just not the same! Cummon emu community - code us a reliable TypeX package/emulator (I know, I know that it's strictly not emulation as based on PC hardware or summats!) Score us a goal, uber and find that needle in a haystack!
