Yerp - Dolphin my last major emulator to set up! My cab's gonna have usb ports so will be using PS2 Dualshocks alongside control panel controls. 4 player games. Just wondering which games are going to convert to joystick/buttons combos neatly. Mind you... I am thinking about how to mirror dualshock on a cp layout! thanks adultery

Any of you guys running these platforms on arcade cabs? If so - any recommendations of games that work well on arcade cab setup? e.g. Tekken 5 and Wipeout Fusion are just amazing via PCSX2!!

Have these roms in correct filename format (e.g. 18wheelr.zip, crzytaxi.zip etc) Have selected Correct db and 'Use database name' Yet still showing in GE as the filename. any ideas?

Scrap that. Why is it as soon as you post on here, things sort!? My finally working cmd: DEmul.exe -run=naomi -rom=[ROM] My dodgy one: DEmul.exe -run=naomi -rom=[ROM] Can YOU tell the difference? I sure couldn't. One extra space! I swear this hobby is gonna drive me potty. I'm too old for pedantic crap! Hope this helps someone

Ah thanks Draco - C64 thing keeps happening intermittently. Also, dragging over files from my old XP build, so wondering if things are getting a little confused.... What does clearing the cache do? Is it risky - will I loose anything? If not - how do you do it? Thanks

Wasn't the same problem, Draco. More about games list showing up in GE. However, once again - for some reaosn working now. I think I'm just having a nightmare day getting all these emulators set up. Thanks for looking at the prob, though

OK, think this one's definitely my GameEx going a bit do-lally Decided to use different roms for my C64 collection. Using TOSEC. So, had winvice running perfectly on older set. Just pointed it towards the new roms (.zip .d64 format). POst scanning - GE has picked them up (shows number of items in emulator selection screen) However, when go into emulator - no games listed at all. + no "No games found" prompt either. Just blank Also, GameEx crashes frequently now. Log file attached Also setup file attached I know I shouldn't have 7z support ticked btw - just one tinker when ran on duff run Hope someone can help. Having spent all day trying to get 3 emulators working - I'm ready to kill. log.txt GameEx.ini

No idea what happened there. Working now when I haven't touched it. SOLVED I think setting up emulators and front ends has to be the most miserable chore in the great world of retro gaming.

More emulator mysteries Have Prosystem installed. Have settings to include "stretched" to full fullscreen. These default settings save fine to Prosystem.ini. When I launch the emulator directly, it loads these defaults so games are good to go. However, when I launch from GameEx, it doesn't seem to load the Prosystem.ini, as my user-set defaults aren't in place. Also, can't find list of Prosystem command line instructions anywhere Any ideas? ProSystem.ini

Soz Freq - at the end of a long and (another) frustrating night with Emu setups SOLVED: Just have to place quotes around your cmd line inst: Project64.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" How do I mark this as solved?

Have "use GE" disabled in setup. Still starts when I launch GameEx. Any ideas? GameEx.ini

Had about 10 emulators up and running under Windows XP - took about 57 years to do. Decided to upgrade to WIndows 8 - so clean re-install. No problem, right? Copy Emulators folder - clean install - reinstall emulators folder - voila!! As long as you remember to copy your emulators folder. Which I didn't. >.< So - fresh setup of all emulators on GameEx on Windows 8. Having problems with Project64 setup that didn't have on XP. PIcture attached. Basically, ROMs in 7z format. Roms getting unzipped to temp file, but getting wierd "Pause" message on cmd prompt. WHen I stop pause, game doesn't load. Wierd thing is, if i run the unzipped from emu directly out of the temp folder - it works! Emu setup fine. Any ideas?

Changed my mind. Just new mobo, i7 and lots of ram - gonna rebuild system so can accommodate PCSX2 and beyond! So - Windows 8 clean install here I come. Wish me luck - 3 months getting emus set up on XP + now starting again >.< It'll be worth it in the long run, right? Right? :s

Will do - woodworking today - I'm gonna cut that hole! 175 for the banner sounds just fine - leaves 300px for stuff above that - should be able to make a CP layout graphic with that. Pretty much same as yours with the different system controllers on it mapped to the cab controls. now.. where's me router?

Many thanks chap! So, you can create a custom theme, which can alter the whole screen - not just the banner at the bottom? i.e. hid the desktop? Good news on the rest. Presently early stages of the idea - looking at 5-7" lcd displays > another sourcing exercise!! Would hope this size should handle the info - looking VGA size 800x600
