    Joining Late but here is my input. 1. how hard and time consuming was it for you to set up (and i mean with all mame games running!!!) a cab with a arcade monitor + arcade card from ultimarc? I thought it made good sense on how the device. I do not recall any TOUGH issues but it does take time to wire and configure the Ultimarc. The only thing I have run into is at one point my card reset itself or something and I could not remeber how to program it back to exactly how I had it...but the defaults are working just fine. 2. was it worth it in retrospect (time + money + hairloss)? - YES! I don't know how you finish a cabinet without it. 3. do you miss the bezels and art that mame can display? I thought I would...but honestly I do not. I created a custom bezel for my arcade so when the game shows up in full screen and I see my bezel...it looks fine. I am sure you probably moved forward but there is my bit of info.

    Wait...you can make the cabinet say the table names? WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA....sorry I realize that was no help but this was news to me.

    Taking a break for GOTM for Jan 2016? If so I understand...I was just curious. Suggestions for the new year...hmmmm Track and Field Try to get the highest overall score with no outside objects used to make you run faster Major Havok A buddy introduced this to me this past summer and I am horrible but it is really cool. Paper Boy It has some tougher controls but there are docs on how to tweak and once they are tweaked I think it plays well on my cabinet Pinball X High Score Community? Anyone interested interested in doing the same thing you guys did here but with Pinball X. I'd be interested in being the mod if no one else wanted to do it...but I think there would be a decent following to that High Score Table Comp as well. Anyway...happy new year!

    I do not have a lot of these games. I get to add NEW ones to the Cabinet! Look forward to competing...and a couple sport games...right up my alley! I do not really get why Mario Bros. is on this since we already have played that as a GOTM...

    Heck yeah! I think my cabinet has been playable for almost 9 months and I am still fine tuning PBX and resetting high scores. Now players at my house have a chance when trying to make the top 4 or 5 on some of these tables! But even on a PC there is a decent learning curve to get VP and PBX to work...but man I feel it was worth it...LOL I think you could start up a Pinball High Score section as well....as a side area.

    I was just brainstorming while I was bored at work and I wanted to ask you smart guys/gals a question. Currently I have a Johnny 5 themed cabinet that I am working on( http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=28935&hl= ) and in the end it will have J5 decals on the outside of the cabinet. I have already created custom loading screens, startup DMD and audio for PBX. Those all work great but when PBX loads and my DMD still plays(it displays instructions on how to navigate PBX) I would like it to show a J5 themed Backglass and Playfield instead of the last table I played. Is this possible? I know how to fake a backglass and playfield image but how do I delay the displaying of the last played table in the list? Does this even make sense? thanks, Rich

    Physmod on PBX?

    I am sure this is possible but my efforts inside of the PBX Setup wizard have failed. Curious what others have done to get the standard version of Pinmame and the physmod to work together in harmony. In short the standard version works fine but I do not know what needs entered in for the physmod...I'm sure I am just missing something simple. FYI - I have verified the physmod and those tables work in VP. Thanks, Rich
