In terms of customer service MS suck! I had similar problems when I first set up my Xbox, I had to start another Tag as my original (Rage 0n) was set up on an american account which didn't allow me to add Live credit bought in the UK. I called MS support and they just didnt care. They told me to start another account and that I had to start over again. I think I got up to a few thousand points the first time. I told them it wasnt the points just the tag that I wanted (which they told me to delete at the time). I was told my old tag would become available after a year, that was 4 years ago and it still isnt

Thats one of my themes dishwater63, sorry your having problems, I don't have any issues myself. I sometimes I add 'DisableChangeView=True' in the theme.ini as a quick way to disable that function, maybe thats causing your issue? if your setup wizard settings are correct, you can disable it in the theme by either deleting 'DisableChangeView=True' in the theme.ini or changing it to =False. The reason it was disabled in the first place is only due to this theme not really supporting that particular view, but by all means change it if it helps. I can't see how this is possible as I only use the theme editor to place images in desired locations, nothing is in the theme that isn't already in your native GameEx setup. Maybe its the video background thats causing your issue?

I play every now and again.... I played trials evolution alot at the time and made a few maps for it (One called 'Whitwells Revenge' and the other called 'Going Loopy'). May tag is R4GE ON if you want to check them out. I think I'm still in the top ten for a few maps on Bulletstorm but that was a while ago. Mainly I played COD

Very nice work there KRC, your themes are taking on a different approach which I think looks great.

I'd like to think arcades could make a come back.... Maybe, if arcades machines were leading the technology race and offered something you could never experience at home on a console/pc, they would still be here. It's probably down to expense. It's a pitty we no longer have such places, they will be missed by many.

Liking this one KRC........I've said it before and I'll say it again, your work rate is impressive with the amount of themes your currently doing

Not sure if anyone wants this but here is the icon for Netflix for After Darkness..... Note about After Darkness icons - If any of you are interested in why the icon images are full screen with transparency in this theme, its simply because I wanted to give myself more canvas. Doing it that way gave me essentially 3 full layers to play with rather than just the forground/background (the icon being the middle layer). Hopes this makes sense in why I did it this way. Not sure if it will be needed in the future for the new theme editor that people are talking about, but I try to find positives in an already great editor which might not be apparent by thinking outside the box..... Looking forward to the next editor guys

Big thanks for taking a look and for the push Draco, thats much better. I did a load of these after your advice, The best I found that match the existing theme was as suggested with a tweak of the snap brightness to 170 (on my system anyway). Like yourself I can't get the video sound but I can live with that. I played around with a matching mp3 in the ambience folder but thats not really the answer so I ditched it. I also made another version without sound and a slightly lower quality version for those that have dedicated cabs with a bit less power which are below. I forget sometimes about the system I'm running but hopefully no one will lag with that one. Update.....Draco, I thought about what you said about the background and I did an animated one, looks ok and I can get it to work as an avi,mpg (quality and shade doesn't look right though) The m2t look great but I cant get a .m2t to play as a background. The m2t is by far the best quality and almost lossless but doesnt play. Its uploaded here if you want to take a look. http://ul.to/4fgon1gt If you know of a way to convert it to an equal quality video I'd be happy to do so, I just need a push in the right direction.

Hey All, I thought a few of you might be interested in the AimTrak recoil lightgun I've made. I managed to find a Cybergun Desert Eagle .50 AE on ebay for £7 and decided to gut it and fit my new AimTrak recoil kit inside instead of buying another housing. Took a bit of soldering as I had to desolder the camera part in order to fit it in the barrel but it came out quite well. I also managed ti fit the solenoid in a great place for the recoil action to pull the top part of the gun back after I figured a way to attach it. Here are a few pics of the finish gun (sorry about the quality, its my rubbish phone)

Hey 8trek I had a look at my config and one thing I noticed different about it to yours is yours is missing the "vpauto.exe". I ran a visual piball table and checked my log and mine looked like this Running: cmd.exe /c C: VPinball912.exe -play -"C:\roms\Visual Pinball\Tables\Scared Stiff.vpt" 06:22:37.1 28/10/2012: Shutting down display 06:22:37.4 28/10/2012: Also Launching: "C:\GameEx\vpauto.exe" Notice the "vpauto.exe", I think this is your problem. The vpauto path should be added to your emulator settings in the advanced setup wizard. It's added via the various settings page right after you setup visual pinball. Mind you, I'm running the latest version of GameEx, not sure if that will make a difference but maybe you should upgrade first and go from there.

I wonder if its possible to have a .swf animation in place of the menu? I have seem one that would be ideal just like your link Han, but how it could be intergrated is beyond me.

This is just a guess but could it have something to do with the theme you are using? The experts will be able to tell you more, but I sometimes add different commands to my theme ini's to enable and disable things instead of going through the setup. Maybe this is why it still shows after you have disabled it in the advance mame settings. Open your current theme.ini and look for EnableBezelAttract=True change this to EnableBezelAttract=False I'm not 100% but I think this is whats causing it. If there isnt a 'EnableBezelAttract=True' in the theme.ini then I don't know.
