It should be noted too that it needs a little horsepower. I tested on my little nuc which is an 8 series mobile based i3. It has 2 cores, 4 threads. Works fine on that. Ill add a fallback mode if needed. How is it working out?

New hardware accelerated video recording on windows 10. Does 60fps at 1080p and should work out the box on any windows 10 system. It can also record Future Pinball which has been a problem in the scene for some time. Only known limitation is it wont record portrait display settings in Windows.

Im still not sure why your system is creating ini files but that path is normal. When GameEx is in the screensaver it creates a custom bezel to show the game name, logo etc.

That may be addressed soon. I am working on something as we speak.

Please post your log too but I am not aware of the feature not working although most people create videos these days with PinballX rather than screenshots. You normally just get a black bitmap with Future Pinball though. Is that what you are seeing? If you have a recent NVIDIA card you can use the video driver capture.

It seems its a matter of opinion from what I see from people here, so I cant really say.

Its so hard to say. Just download and try it and if everything is not smooth enough for you just uninstall it.

I'm not aware of anything current. It tends to be a manual process. The normal thing people do is do one item at a time and cherry pick individual tables. PinballX was designed from the get go for just the best of the best games rather than absolutely everything. Hopefully that answers the question for you and everyone else.

Glad you figured it out although I don't think GameEx is creating that ini file? I am guessing MAME is creating it but never heard of that. Maybe it is a new "feature".

The other setting is the 60hz sync setting under display settings. That may affect the artwork. As for anything else, I've never experienced that issue in the last 15 years. I cannot help further. Sorry.

Well you still have the setting on which would screw with the artwork. You've still not turned that off.. Same folder, same version of MAME? I attach a batch file which you can launch anywhere on your system which is exactly the same as launching from MAME directly. Tempest.bat

And these games work outside of GameEx you say? Do they work when you launch runitgame.bat? I can see you disabled bypass disclaimer now, so I have no idea. I do have a spinner on my cab so will test myself later. I seem to recall you said you were having issues when launched from GameEx but not if launched from MAME itself and that is what I was trying to address by telling you to turn off those things and in your other topic too.
