Sorry, I didnt realise you already had it setup. Your post looked like you were setting it up for the first time. My new setup worked fine for me. Ill double check if you help too but it should just be importing the profile downloading emu and pointing to your games. I was using the latest set however.

With the latest release of GameEx easiest way is probably just to set it up as a custom emulator then use a litxml output file as a map file. I will take a look though and see if I can do a proper emulator profile for hbmame and if there is one already make sure it is up to date.

PS: Bug in setup when trying to install .net 2 framework on win 10 and newer. If .net 2 already installed it was working

We don't care but I got locked out of the Spesoft Facebook page and got caught in the Facebook photo ID loop of death so had to get Facebook to take it down with a DMCA notice to myself. I wish I could just get some work done. I got all kinds of good ideas. So new page coming but again who cares. It was just an automated RSS feed but just in case someone thought I was banned or they were blocked.

The pre .net 6 version is now called the xp/32 bit version. It supports 64 bit. Could you please try?

Loose association with roms from my understanding. It's happened to all the major players. Its still free if you like but donations are back with an alternative now.

I wonder if its just an issue introduced with the net core version. Can you try the other and report please? (Lite is the other, .net 4 and may not be the latest on your setup)

Paypal just shut down my PayPal account. Can't even take donations now. I already went free. If you have useful sugestions they are welcome. There was not a lot in there but all subscriptions are now cancelled . It was at about $14k US a year. It did cover my costs.
