You can use any cursor you want if you replace the file BlackDOT.cur file in the PinballX dir. I do this because I always seem to be tinkering and like having the cursor that is easy to find and move around. So when I'm in game mode I use this large Mario Brother cursor that is easy to find. Then if PinballX crashes or something happens, I still have a mouse cursor. Keep in mind that if you do an update to PinballX, you will need to copy your custom cursor back.

.. you'd copy off the log file and raise an issue on the forum so it can be investigated?! But yep, if you want a visible cursor while PinballX is running then good solution.

Mike, The alternate function in Visual Pinball System is only to load Visual Pinball.executables. (VPinballX, VPinball995,VPinball99_PhysMod5_Updated). And you tested this function with PincabView and it didn't work. This was discussed in the post "Banzai Run - PinCabViewVPX_Launcher.exe" and you replied: But it doesn't launch the PincabViewer_launcher at all Running the line from command line, it is working fine So thik Alternate exe is not working fine for this
