I expect that it will not be as powerful as most PCs running Bazzite, comparable to how Xbox was not as powerful as many PCs of the same era.

From some reviews this may be the case, and pricing may be more than what most would expect.

Right but from a gamer consumer standpoint it's a console that will run out of the box. For the PC builders (meaning us) it's under-powered. But then, to us, so is an XBox or PlayStation. I may get one on the used market to check it out. I do have a Deck after all. I'm not immune to the charms dammit!!

My opinion is it will have a good sales run considering the target audience and STEAM(!!!!!1!1!1!1111). 🤣

I think it will do very well, that’s unless it’s severely underpowered.

From some of the YouTube chatter, we can probably expect similar performance curves as we did with consoles vs. PCs - not the ultimate, but still pretty damned good. Since they can flex their experience with Steam Deck, I fully expect that it will be successful. I am waiting to see the pricing as It may be something I consider for the living room next year.

Now where did I put that original Steam controller I bought and never used? 😵‍💫

Mines right next to the Steam link I never used.

I came across my Steam Link a few days ago.
