[RESOLVED] PBX 6.56 crashes when launching new Metallica table...

So, I got the brand-spanking-new Metallica table (VPW - v2.02). It runs fine within VPX with no issues. When I launch it in PBX, however, the PF monitor goes to my loading image and the backglass file stays on screen for a few seconds and my background music continues to play...then PBX just crashes out with VPX remaining open and running the table. No other table is doing this. Logs and config are in. This was working for me last night. I have no idea what changed. This one is puzzling.

VPX is RC7 and PinMAME is up to date.

Think it'll need @Tom Speirs to investigate but can you confirm if you're running the GL or the DX version of VPX 10.8 RC7? (it might be worth trying the alternate x64 version to see it the if that helps)

I believe it's the plain jane version of VPX. Definitely the 64-bit version.

Figured out what the problem is but it's still an issue. @Tom Speirs, PBX will not load anything with a loading video attached to it. PBX crashes upon attempting to load it. Getaway, Metallica, Creature...all crash and all have loading vids. I took all the loading videos out and everything runs now but it's odd that PBX won't allow the loading of videos before launch. All my vids are cropped at 1080x1920. The weird thing is that some are listed with a ".bu.mp4" extension. Putting them back to mp4 doesn't fix it so I have no idea what's happening.

Installed. Still crashing. I've never needed these filters before.

Good find.. not sure if the loading videos is a symptom or a cause. The renamed files (with .bu.Mp4) is normal while PinballX is active and they should get renamed back on a clean exit of PinballX (by the loading video plugin)

Can you post a copy of PBXLoadingImage_log.txt from the plugins folder after a crash has occurred, there might be more clues there. Maybe one loading video is corrupted in some way, depending on how many you have that might be tricky to locate though.

Log uploaded, Scutters...I'm not seeing any errors here...weird...also, I tried your suggestion of running an alternate VPX but that didn't check out.

Also tried to re-encode the video in Handbrake for a clean copy just now. Tried a rando loading vid but that didn't work either.

I think it just has to do with the loading vids not loading properly for whatever reason.

I am entertaining the notion of clean-installing PBX.

EDIT: Nope, not even a clean-install helped.

@scutters, @Draco1962 - Turns out it was a bug within PBX. Tom uploaded a new version and it's fixed.
