[Resolved] gameex arcade not all games available

i have had gameex for a while and everything was working great but when i discovered arcade version i was more what i was looking for so it seemed to be working great until i wanted to try operation tiger that is now playable. used the search and its not there, ran mame by itself and its there and playable, double checked settings and looked at the ini and nothing it set incorrect. found my backup drive with normal gameex dragged the folder over to my working drive and ran it and the game is there? even for the heck of it used that gameex.ini in the arcade folder and still its not there. are there more games missing? i dont see anywhere in arcade that it shows how many games are available.

Could be getting filtered out from one of the settings under the Advance MAME Settings.

Have you tried specifically listing these titles in the "Don't filter these ROMS"

isnt there a way to not filter any games? that is just 1 game i found that isnt showing up there could be way more. in regular gameex i never had a problem

Were you able to add the rom to the Do Not Filter list as suggested? If so, did it fix the issue?

i did try that and it still doesnt show? dont understand it shows in regular gameex

hopefully someone else has both installed and verify the same. if its on my end i will try and redo stuff .

You may want to attach copies of your gameex.ini files from both GameEx builds.

Also, what version of MAME?

arcadeGameEx.iniGameEx.ini i am using mame 0.235

Has your romset been updated to match the mame 0.235 release via clrmamepro or similar?

GameEx Arcade Edition does try to simplify things and it is hard coded that some games are filtered out. It is by design. As mentioned though you can include specific games if you want to.

went back and added in the do not filter line and deleted everything in the GameFilter line. now it works.
