Draco1962
Thinking about asking Santa for one of these... http://armchairarcade.com/perspectives/2016/11/13/atari-flashback-portable-2016-official-game-list/
stigzler
As long as you get E.T. on it. That game didn't suck at all...

I remember spending months....MONTHS!!!!....trying to beat that game. It's the first game I remember playing that actually seemed like it could have an end. If I wasn't playing it at home I was playing it at my friend's house. What an incomprehensible steaming pile of garbage. Draco, have you ever looked into PSPs for portable emulation? Those are a pretty slick option if a bit dated.
stigzler
You know the end, right? E.T. goes home.
Draco1962
A pretty decent review... http://armchairarcade.com/perspectives/2016/12/02/review-atari-flashback-portable-atgames-2016-version-includes-videos/
Adultery
I'd have to +1 on the PSP recommendation.
Draco1962
Hadn't looked into it or knew that it existed. Curious now...
hansolo77
That looks interesting, wtf are all the extra buttons for? Atari only had 1 button, until you get into the Jaguar era with a numpad.
Draco1962
Some of the extra buttons are for menu and pause options. I think that is noted in the review.
tthurman
After watching the video's its amazing how accurate this seems to be. Even the disappearing pac-man is there! There's always the suitcase portable option......stylish sweater is optional.
ClassicGMR
I was going to splurge for one but I have a PSP that's running Stella plus emulation all over the place. I WILL get one but I'm thinking next year if they come up with a new model. Hell the Flashback is almost every year. As for the extra buttons I'm sure most have option assigned but the reason for it is they used the same housing they already manufactured the Genesis portable in.
