ClassicGMR Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 How well do these run in Win 7 / Win 8.1 / Win 10 environments? DOSBox is set up so that's not an issue if I need it. Quote
tthurman Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I saw this yesterday over on Anandtech, Bitman had this to add:Awesome, thanks!Edit: Collection is partially broken.Earthsiege games are for Win-95 era computers, and will require some effort to get working. May require DosBox.Tribes is just plain missing; the Starsiege download contains only Starsiege. Starsiege actually installs and works in Win 10, though has problems (mouse and fullscreen broken.)Tribes Aerial Assault is only for Playstation 2, so you'll need an emulator. (untested)Starsiege Vengeance needs a CD key, not given on the download page. In any case, you're better off downloading that game from here:http://tribesrevengeance.com/Tribes 2 is untested, but I have it on disc and it was fun to play.Tribes Ascend has always been free to play.Another member mentioned the Ascend is broken currently, or has been for over a year now.I picked up vengeance a few years ago, and played it all the way through on 7 with the help of some patches (if I recall correctly). Some minor annoyances, but I managed even so. Good game! 1 Quote
