nullPointer Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I hadn't listened to MC Frontalot for a while and decided to put it up on my headphones today at work. Such good stuff! I have a tendency to assume that a few of the things I like fall into the realm of common public knowledge only to realize that a lot of people don't know what on earth I'm talking about. So if you haven't ever checked out MC Frontalot before here ya go. Nerdcore FTW! (Wow typing it out like that really takes me back to 2007 ) Quote

stigzler Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Man, I bet we could've scored some logos from this fellow! Ha! I now see logos wherever I go. That room was dreamglue. And that's one bonkers vid - wtf is a "Grue"? Quote
nullPointer Posted August 11, 2014 Author Posted August 11, 2014 > what is a grue? The grue is a sinister, lurking presence in the dark places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.Time to brush up on some text based adventure gaming my friend! I recommend starting with some Zork! ... Or you could just take the shortcut and check out the awesome documentary Get Lamp. It's a super cool film that I think any gamer would likely enjoy (IMO), but is essential viewing for fans of text adventures (particularly so if you were around during that era). Quote
stigzler Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Oh the personal shame....I used to love Level 9 adventures - Worm in Paradise etc.... how could I not know that?> Examine Personal PrideYour personal pride appears a little dented and jaded.....> Get prideThe heard of lions rumbles past majestically.> Not that type of pride!I'm sorry, I don't understand> **** *** ******* *** *******No need to swear. 1 Quote
