Well I haven't tested coming from screensaver mode or anything of the like....but with both my logitech wireless rumble pad 2's powered down I did launch GX, then grabbed the controllers and nav'ed the menus just fine. Yeah Saitek has issues with losing signal...even when in direct line of sight....however their wired controllers are very recommended...just pass on the wireless versions.
LucasBarton - Double check your pathing information maybe something is spelled different than whats in your config...lord knows I've made that blunder a number of times.
lalandev - Well its good that solved the problem...but its still confusing as I have that DB working in my setup...maybe yours got corrupted somehow...I'd suggest deleting it & maybe rerunning the installer to get a fresh replacement...tho the db certainly isn't required but its nice to have. Your config looks fine from what I see.
Have you gone through and removed pathing to snaps\titles\movies\box\cart\manual\controls\instruction in addition to removing the logo...as maybe some of the other data is corrupted and is causing the failure. Basically strip it to the bone...oh and probably should deselect the database as well. Oh and as suggested by another user make sure you have the latest build of fusion installed. I'll try to think of other things that maybe the problem...but right now I'm stumped as SMS(fusion) is running fine on my system but I am also using roms that match No-Intro's sets. Oh and welcome to the board.
Probably has something to do with the settings your using in your commandline for Mame. So post its contents and maybe one of the Mame guru's can tell you whats wrong.
Really no clue as to what is your problem...there is nothing that really needs to be configured in Fusion to get it to play the games outside of the bios....check your cue files to see if there is any pathing info listed in them...if so remove it... Are your disc's contained in separate folders?
Actually there is a lesser error in that config of mine after reviewing it. Your right it can load BIN & ISO images directly...however there are more valid disc images than just those two that people maybe using...that Fusion doesn't support natively...so while a virtual drive isn't needed...it is by and large the more acceptable method to use, so that others run into fewer bumps in the road. That said...you do have the Sega CD bios don't you?
Heh well with only having three posts currently things must have really gone well. Its really good to hear things went over well at your get together, its always nice when time and effort are rewarded. As for your request...be sure to post it in the requests thread at the top of the forum...that way it doesn't get buried and Tom can look into it as time allows...hehe and other things in the que look less fun to do. Anyways welcome to the community and hope to see you around in the future.
Well I just tried GX's karaoke & seems fine on my system...tried a few of them...all from Sound Choice Karaoke...hehe tho I did have to install the plugin...first try and I just got a blank screen...I thought I had it installed already...but guess not. So it works fine here...just have a stock onboard AC'97 sound...nVidia based.
Images are loaded through the GDROM.ini file...I have a loader coded up for this emu in the 101 reasons thread. Oh and sorry for being slow to reply...its been one of those days where your just to tied up with different odd ball things...that something is bound to slip through the cracks.
