  1. I think your going to be on your own...
  2. LOL Well I got a request for the background used for the Mame Update icon...while this isn't the exact same image...its a screenshot of the same screen saver. Heh think you got wide screen...check this out...hehe okay its just dual monitor's.
  3. hehe yeah sure. Well what I'd be doing basically would be taking advantage of GX's GoodMerge support...it would be a fair amount of work but possible all the same. Creative...I took one of those tests along with IQ & psychic when I was like 19 scored well enough to work for NASA, NSA, CIA,... only problem was my psychic eval stated I had issues with authority & didn't play well with others....hehe imagine that. But I'm older now...what use to take me seconds now takes hours or days...growing old sucks.
  4. james_osgood2000 - Actually there are a lot of Emu's that work with it be sides mame...Nebula, FBA, WinKawaks,... I could probably figure something out for these...how graceful it would be...who knows...probably look like a typical bad hack. I'm under the gun right now...so I can't toy with this now but maybe in a week or so. Brian Hoffman - hmm it would be cool if Tom coded this into GX as we could certainly add these to the DB's...that said...hehe...a work around could be done with a little creativity...I'm guessing...as I haven't tried this. blah I was going to outline how this might be done....but under the gun as I said prior...maybe in a week I can tear into both of these.
  5. Tom does this have [App] macro included? and the corrected Advanced Config? You may want to gab at LB11 and see if he's happy with releasing the DB's...I think the Windows & DOS ones are the only ones yet to be updated...so maybe leave those out...
  6. Thats great news.
  7. I'm interested just haven't been following the thread as of late is all. Now I do have a bit of a question...on players are you actually counting ports on the system...or whats actually the max system allowed? The reason for the question is that I seen in the db for TG-16 only one player listed...while its true there is only one port on the console...that I recall anyways...there was an expansion that allowed up to four players...tho I don't recall any four player games...but nearly all of the games supported two player. This gets compounded when dealing with the 3DO...which has one port typically, but controllers can be daisy chained to support 6 or 8 players...tho I'm having a tough time recalling any four player games on the system.
  8. heh actually Brian...as I've more or less abandoned it...and tossed him the reigns. But like all my stuff its basically public domain...well GameEx domain. Hence why everything has source code. Thanks for the alterations tho Stu.
  9. FBA files
  10. Your welcome
  11. Sure there is...this is the one I use...its not free tho. Some nice free ones: Rename Master Flexible Renamer
  12. I would imagine it goes in the mame.ini file if you have 120u1...which I don't. I'm guessing others here don't know ether as they haven't said boo...
  13. hehe didn't know asteroids was also in SW...hehe
  14. I'm guessing this setting set OSDPROCESSORS=2

    Wow sweet updates.

    Sega CD

    Oddly surreal always seems to stay resident in memory when I use it...anyone else have issues with it continuing to run even after exiting?
  18. Generally its some thing like so: <path to Xpadder>\xpadder.exe "<path to profile>\xpad2" /M

    FFDshow codec

    I'd suggest getting a newer or older build of VLC...as it uses its own built in codec's and not whats registered with the system. Same goes with GOM...which is starting to grow on me as a media player...maybe give that one a spin.
  20. Cool deal...I'll try to get this finished up...kind of got me side tracked off other projects tho...but I tend to do that of my own accord as well.
  21. Okay pulled the prior batch...and re-uploading them here....should by and large be the same...tried to remove some extra garbage on the edges of some of them...and swapped inset image on a few...also completed a few more...still not a complete set. Hehe really this isn't fair...was only looking to give Adultery a jump start...hehe not take over the project...I think I hear him giggling in the corner and repeating the phrase "Sucker" I'll likely be redoing "All Games" yet again...the video wall type inset image seems like it'll be way to small for end users using low resolutions.
  22. Okay I regex'ed the piss out of this, along with a few edits of my own to hopefully white space things out correctly. Anyways line count went from 1761 down to 850...so a far amount of code savings. Ideally everything should still work as it did...and hopefully better...but since I regex'ed this rather than crawling through it manually editing things...stuff could have gotten broken. So bang on it and see if anything is broken...if not please comment things as suggested prior, and fix up the "About" dialogs as suggested prior...after that we can further tweak things & maybe toy around with other design idea's if your interested. Anyways over all you did a good job on it...past that its just a matter of lack of exposer to AutoIt...which hopefully we'll be making you a badass at it in a short while.
  23. Now since I absolutely HATE SendKeys namely when they are being used blindly (blind=bad). We'll be making use of ControlCommand...which has a host of options that simply kick ass. Blind SendKeys has broken more scripts than I care to recall...took a short while before it sank it...but when it did...it did hard. If you have to send blind...then you have to...but if you can get around having to...by all means do so. Now since I prefer to deal with actual controls rather than using MouseClicks...as its less error prone...and generally quicker....we'll make use of ControlClick simple fast & effective. So now the "About" dialog has been changed to make use of these commands. Func Dkongjrp() ; About Dialog $title = "About Donkey Kong Jr. - Panorama" If Not WinWaitActive ( $title , '' , 3 ) Then WinActivate ( $title ) ControlCommand ( $title , '' , 'TComboBox1' , 'SelectString' , 'Windows MM' ) ControlClick ( $title , '' , 'TButton1' ) ; Game Window If Not WinWaitActive ( "[CLASS:TForm1]" , '' , 3 ) Then WinActivate ( "[CLASS:TForm1]" ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 189 , 300 , 1 , 1 ) While ProcessExists ( "Dkongjrp.exe" ) ; 1 Key Pressed - Game 1 If _IsPressed( "31" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 217 , 498 , 1 , 1 ) EndIf ; 2 Key Pressed - Game 2 If _IsPressed( "32" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 256 , 498 , 1 , 1 ) EndIf ; 5 Key Pressed - Reset Game If _IsPressed( "35" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) ; Spacebar Pressed - View Current Time If _IsPressed( "20" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 295 , 506 , 1 , 1 ) WEnd EndFunc Past this its more about design than making better use of stuff....so unless your interested in what may or may not be a better design plan...I'll leave things where they are at.
  24. Now to really address whats likely the issue of this failing...past this its simply a matter of learning a bit more about how to make better use of AutoIt. Opt("WinTitleMatchMode",4) is likely the correct pick...however we are dealing with a skinned window...which is never good. If Not WinWaitActive ( "Form1" , '' , 3 ) Then WinActivate ( "Form1" ) Would likely be a fine use for typical applications...that aren't skinned...but since we are...its far better to call upon its class name. If Not WinWaitActive ( "[CLASS:TForm1]" , '' , 3 ) Then WinActivate ( "[CLASS:TForm1]" ) So current function should look like so: Func Dkongjrp() ; About Dialog $title = "About Donkey Kong Jr. - Panorama" If Not WinWaitActive ( $title , '' , 3 ) Then WinActivate ( $title ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 227 , 302 , 2 , 1 ) Send ( "w" ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 130 , 337 , 1 , 1 ) ; Game Window If Not WinWaitActive ( "[CLASS:TForm1]" , '' , 3 ) Then WinActivate ( "[CLASS:TForm1]" ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 189 , 300 , 1 , 1 ) While ProcessExists ( "Dkongjrp.exe" ) ; 1 Key Pressed - Game 1 If _IsPressed( "31" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 217 , 498 , 1 , 1 ) EndIf ; 2 Key Pressed - Game 2 If _IsPressed( "32" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 256 , 498 , 1 , 1 ) EndIf ; 5 Key Pressed - Reset Game If _IsPressed( "35" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) ; Spacebar Pressed - View Current Time If _IsPressed( "20" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 295 , 506 , 1 , 1 ) WEnd EndFunc Its not known that will solve the problem...but more than likely it will given my past experiences.
  25. Next adding some comments, being more aggressive about how we handle windows by simplifying code, and doing the same for If\Then statements. Func Dkongjrp() ; About Dialog $title = "About Donkey Kong Jr. - Panorama" If Not WinWaitActive ( $title , '' , 3 ) Then WinActivate ( $title ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 227 , 302 , 2 , 1 ) Send ( "w" ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 130 , 337 , 1 , 1 ) ; Game Window If Not WinWaitActive ( "Form1" , '' , 3 ) Then WinActivate ( "Form1" ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 189 , 300 , 1 , 1 ) While ProcessExists ( "Dkongjrp.exe" ) ; 1 Key Pressed If _IsPressed( "31" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 217 , 498 , 1 , 1 ) EndIf ; 2 Key Pressed If _IsPressed( "32" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) MouseClick ( 'left' , 256 , 498 , 1 , 1 ) EndIf ; 5 Key Pressed If _IsPressed( "35" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 236 , 544 , 1 , 1 ) ; Spacebar Pressed If _IsPressed( "20" , $dll ) Then MouseClick ( 'left' , 295 , 506 , 1 , 1 ) WEnd EndFunc
