  1. Your welcome. Yeah I'll see about tossing one together...well for your end of things it would be just a matter of making the configs for the I-Pac & providing a graphic or document of some sort showing out your buttons are laid out....well the graphic is a guess as I don't have any experience with control panels. Rotation I think works but only with D3D & OGL...OGL2 doesn't support it...but you would probably know better than I...as I haven't screwed with it in over a year or so. Now if those renders don't actually support it...I'm totally clueless as to how to fix it. Maybe someone else will be a bit more in the know about it, and can lend a hand.
  2. Thats good to hear Adultery.
  3. yeah be sure to share as I'm sure someone will come to find a need for it.
  4. shaunopp - Try the attached executables and see if they solve your Xpadder issues.
  5. Maybe try Makaron instead....its better in some area's than nullDC...and worse in others.
  6. Well actually you can setup AutoHotKey launching from within the loader, and AutoHotKey termination from the process killer that accompany's the loader...which lends its self to running custom bindings per game....if you can figure out how to get AutoHotKey to read from INI files, and get it to take CLI options. Source code for the loader is in that archive...so you can tinker with things your self...or if you can provide me with enough info I can probably make the changes myself. I haven't programmed in AHK other wise I could do everything for you...so you'll have to get your hands dirty if you want to go this route...heh or wait till I get my todo list que down to something more reasonable to where I can take a look at AHK to learn its inner workings. Anyways good to hear you got things working smoothly as is...now its just a matter of how anal you want to get about things. DJ Infinity - Exactly what problems are you running into and whats your setup...I'm sure we can get it up and running.
  7. Heh thats a cheap shot in an attempt to win something that has yet to be made a challenge. Heh assertions of fact are not facts in and of them selves. okay lets not go letting this geek vs nerd thing highjack the thread.
  8. Well if you copied them over you can leave them or delete them...now if you cut\moved them over...then you'll need to copy\cut\move them back and rename. Be sure to make a list of what games fail...also make sure to test them with a different render as there maybe issues with that game or your system...ATI I guess is having some issues with OGL2 so may want to make some changes...
  9. Well all I did was delete some lines of code & a few dozen files...no real effort there. As for configuring stuff...well the PDF I did up prior should cover everything I know of...just skip the whole altering bindings & Xpadder bit as it doesn't apply. I don't think you can alter the keyboard bindings...but I'm not certain...I also don't know of any other keyboard plugin...there just wasn't a lot of development done for this emu...and the dev is currently working on Mame and doesn't appear to be likely to return to Zinc anytime soon.
  10. Okay this should be stripped of every thing thats not required.
  11. Heh I'm really getting to hate that emu. I'll put together a stripped down version for you...but you'll have to use Zinc's default keyboard bindings as I don't know how to program the Xarcade.
  12. Okay I'll look into these issues...but you may want to hunt around about the sound issue your self as it'll be lower on my to-do list than the other issues which are clearly my fault somehow. Do a quicky test for me...download the current beta for Xpadder and replace your current build...part of the Xpadder issues could do with the version listed in the configs which will prevent older builds from opening the files. As for Nerd vs Geek...my view of a nerd is someone with who has no sense of dress, balance or ability to speak without putting their proverbial foot in their mouth...social rejects by happenstance. Geeks are also social rejects of sorts...but more so because of their mental choice of interests & topics. Geeks rather than debating whether or not one type of blue jeans is cool or not, would instead debate whether or not Nietzsche was cool or not. Heh okay I'll get back to my coding & trouble shooting now.

    Karaoke

Yeah you can launch anything you want really with GX...just has to be setup a little differently. Basically KaraFun gets setup as a Emulator...and UltraStar as a PC game. Other applications are also possible...just may require bandaid like AutoIt or AuotHotKey or the like to get things to run smoothly.

    Karaoke

hmm don't really have a clue but maybe make sure your DirectX is up to date. Past that maybe search the forums for Karafun its another Karaoke app...and its nicer than the default GX Karaoke. There is also UltraStar...but I'm not sure if it plays CDG or not. I have yet to dig into Karaoke so I'm not a lot of help there...tho I do have tons of it...just not making use of it right yet.
  15. Well I haven't a clue off the bat...but lets get some data. 1. What build of nullDC are you using? 2. Did you make sure you have the latest DX9 build installed? 3. Did you use the nullDC installer or did you use a zip archive? 4. What do the contents of your nullDC.cfg look like? 5. What OS & Service Pack are you running? 6. Are you using CDI rips or GDI + CUE or other? 7. Are you using Brians CLI or a Loader?...if a Loader whos? 8. Are you using a Virtual Drive? & if so whats the make and build? with what options? Heh more info goes a long ways.
  16. I guess things will just sit as they are...since no one is trying things out.
  17. Okay updated the files, KN1 games should now work...in addition Bloody Roar 2 should also work, since it was missing a config...a couple of batch scripts are thrown in to aid in configuring Psychic Force...please be sure to edit pathing accordingly in the batch files. Please hammer on things and find what breaks. P.S. Copy over your settings from your prior Settings.ini into the new Settings.ini a few fields where missing in the old one...namely the KN1 games...thats not what caused them to fail...but it certainly limited their flexibility. Adultery - geek tendencies sure...nerd tendencies never...I make a distinction between the two.
  18. Hehe thats funny as hell. Happy New Years from Jet City.
  19. Heh yeah its the little things that matter. Kind of sucks to never used that TV tuner before it being abandoned by the manufacture...getting sick of being left out in the cold when ever I take a chance on a company trying something new...and its suppose to be a great card....blah
  20. Okay this is a shot in the dark...but when you ran the app to add Xpadders App Path to the registry...did it say things where fine..or that they failed...you may also need to check manually as Vista I guess is really bitchy about any thing trying to access that registry branch...so it may have blocked the entry....which you'll have to run as Admin to enter it. The plugins...no you don't need to copy them over if you already have them. Just make sure they are configured. GL2...could be the generation of ATI chips used for it...or the drivers...not a whole lot of eye candy in Zinc anyways so its a small loss if anything. Audio issues should only be on certain games...and there isn't much that can be done...the sound driver never got done...or at least never got released to where I could get a hold of it. I'll double check Fighters Impact...I recall it having issues...but I did get more than a black screen...but I'll look into it. whooops...sorry for the config issue...I'll see about updating it. KN1 games are using keyboard input..thats why xpadder is called into play...so...I guess the real question is whether or not I'll get out a version that works with that I-Pac of yours. I'm no guru at this stuff...hell I just play Mr Driller which everyone I know gets a kick out of watching me...guess there is something amusing about a red-neck\skin-head looking fellow playing sissy games.

    ootake?

I've used it a few times...need to use No-Into matching roms tho...GoodTools have the dump data in the wrong spots...which Ootake will bitch about. Mednafan is also a good one to give a try. Magic Engine has always been the standard...but it does come with a price. Plenty of options for the TG-16
  22. Yeah that thread wasn't much for explaining things as more just me brain storming and ranting. The script I'm hoping to write will do a lot of things for the end user convert MP3\APE\FLAC to WAV, rename to directory, fix CUE files, generate a basic MAP file all in one shot...so hopefully the end user only gets stuck fixing directory names prior to running the script...then fixing up the pretty names in the generated MAP file...so do some work prior to bed...then do some in the morning\afternoon. Its not plug and play...but it should be a lot easier over all for the end user. I'm still a noob at this stuff but I'm getting better and I think over all we can make this a reasonable hobby for others to take up and enjoy. As for the CUE program over all it should be fine...but it doesn't hurt to make a backup of all your CUE files prior to running the program...matter fact I hope things are backed up prior to running any of my stuff. While there certainly isn't any intent to screw others over...things can go wrong (shouldn't) to its always best to be prepared for the worst. Hehe all I got to say is I didn't make anyone do anything...I only advised...hehe they did what ever to them selves. I'm generally good about giving out source code and my executables can be decompiled...so the end user has the option to check things out first to see if things should work right for them or not. Anyways your welcome and I hope things go well and that it saves you a lot of time and effort.
  23. Okay for now I'm just going to have to send you to a prior thread...till I get everything sorted out as a catch all for all CD image media. Prior thread I've attached a few screenshots to help show what I'm doing...basically each game is in its own folder...I rename the folders to how I want them presented as, then rename the contents to match the folder name, then alter any CUE files to reflect the name changes in files. This should work fine as long as there is never a number of the same type of files in any given folder....like where one has CUE+ISO+MP3\WAV since I'm unaware of any PSX dumping method that produces such files...the thread linked to above should be safe for your dumps as well. Fire off any questions you may have & I'll lend you a hand.
  24. SOUND SETUP: N\A I'll update this later on.
  25. Frankly I've never gotten Gens to work or any of its siblings....Surreal works...but stays in memory for me. I'd suggest switching over to Kega Fusion instead for Sega. You'll run into issues when using an Emu that makes use of OpenGL render's...there are ways around this issue...I'm just somewhat slow at providing them currently...till such a point you'll likely be forced to show the Desktop. There is some trial and error involved with things currently...but there always will be to some degree...but I'm working on resolving a number of these hurdles. So hang in there...there is hope.
