  1. Far as I know...no one has tried U64EMU Now CPS3 thats a different story.
  2. Yeah you can use clrMAMEpro to update naming with will likely make it to where you keep most games...you'll still lose some of them since there has been a lot of redumping involved since your build. I'd really suggest getting a newer collection.
  3. Well I have no clue about the jukebox...so someone else will need to lend a hand there. As for the NeoRageX issue...well thats a sad tale...as far as I'm aware of there is no CLI for it...at least not that I could ever find, and using AutoIt to create a loader never seemed feasible. I'd suggest ether using one of the newer builds of Mame, or Nebula, WinKawaks, Final Burn Alpha all of which are supported in GameEx and play all the same games. However rom sets differ from those used in NeoRageX.
  4. Your welcome, and good to hear things worked out for you...I'll likely be trying to pull off the same thing.
  5. Hehe what ad's??
  6. nah haven't sent in any...I started loading them up in that one thread as I was cleaning them...getting rid of dependence on Xpadder and such. I think I had some thing done for UAE...not sure if I ever finished it tho....mainly geared at CD32 I've been really busy with court stuff as of late...got a dirty judge and prosecutor...and a few others that I'm dealing with...that with luck will all be settled in a months time. So things are rather hit and miss with me right now. Hehe if I end up dead then I guess I hit a nerve a little to high up the food chain. *cue mission impossible music*
  7. Your welcome and enjoy
  8. hmm you mean the one in your own prior thread? Is bad? hmm
  9. Oh there probably is...tho it would likely require some semi creative coding in AutoIt & setting up special keys with Xpadder. Hell I run Nebula, WinKawaks & Final Burn Alpha for NeoGeo. As for why Nebula vs Mame....well NeoGeo CD...as I'm not aware of Mame supporting that...and transparency's...likely a few other things but those are the bigger reasons that I'm aware of. Anyways making GameEx network playable would be cool...and maybe I'll sit down one of these days and get things setup.
  10. I'll see about getting them finished off later this week....still running a bit behind on a few other things. Yeah hopefully we can come up with a sound list of things and iron out any differences we have or others in the community have....with in reason of course. I haven't tallied up the total number of different groups allgames uses....but one phrase groups seem like a better fit for how GameEx is now...other wise we need really more columns in the db...and more complex way of sorting out whats wanted and whats not....which I think would be just ugly all the way around.
  11. Create a Map file for ether case. <folder name>|<song name> fretsonfire.exe -p "[RomPath]\[RomFile]" For the media it would probably be some thing like: player.exe "[RomPath]\[RomFile]\[RomFile].m3u" Course thats taking for granted you would be creating a play list that matches the album folder name.
  12. Question is this at all related to the looping video wallpapers for vista...tho done for other products prior to vista. Anyways another possible resource would be assets produced for Stardock's DeskScapes...which will no doubt have more loops developed as time rolls on.
  13. Or create a map file with the proper capitalization.
  14. Good to hear...enjoy this wonderful Frontend.
  15. Your welcome
  16. Thanks
  17. hmm not sure if its just the fact I been driving for the past 5+ hours...but your original reply didn't come off smoothly. I'm not exactly sure what your problem is with UNC and MPC...but it seems like a fairly no brainer to me....well at least if your using NTFS. The only issue I see is if you wanted to browse by folder...out side of that I can make every thing work...hell who knows maybe I can even fake that as well. Anyways I'm bitchy right now so I'll walk away and take a fresh look at this tomorrow. @ mario_superstar Your welcome as always.
  18. Well if the other loader has the kill_child.exe with it...please don't share it.
  19. hehe we are figuring things out as we go. STU was the big time stud this last time around...I got a few GoodTool sets I'm guess he doesn't...or he's just wanting some one else to work on things besides just himself. As for categories I've been playing with the idea for a while now to switch over to using the ones over @ allgame...tho it was some thing I didn't want to really get into until we got the GoodTool and No-Intro names into the db's. There is still a lot of systems and data missing out of the db's...but thanks to everyones efforts I think what we are developing now is becoming a solid replacement for the old db's. Which I'm still very thankful for the effort put into those...because with out them...we probably wouldn't have what we have now. I'm massively thankful that bkenobi & PimpDaddyStu have lended a hand in this project other wise it probably never got off the ground...I'm also thankful for all the guys that added data over at MobyGames.
  20. [KEYBOARD] #Scan Code Number # See Scancodes.txt for a list of Scan Codes specific to your system. # If file not there, run GameEx. Select=30 Back=48 Shift1_Paging=46 Shift2_Volume=32 up=200 down=208 left=203 right=205 PrevTrack=44 NextTrack=45 Home=199 StopStartJuke=0 [JOYSTICK] #Button Number starting a 0 Select=0 Back=1 Shift1_Paging=3 Shift2_Volume=4 PrevTrack=6 NextTrack=7 StopStartJuke=0
  21. blah googled and a few places suggest you reinstall .Net 2.0 along with any updates currently out for it.
  22. LOL just peeked into the thread. Actually I yet to use this part of GameEx surprising enough. ...guess I'll give it a spin. brb Okay checked it out...and ALT+1 did take me back to the main menu of the DVD...my typical escape gamepad buttons sent me to the main GameEx menu. So no clue why its not working for you.
  23. Okay a quick search of the forum brought up a few results...most pointed to an issue with Win2k\2k3\XP had been slimmed down with nlite? So do you have a modified OS installation?
  24. Well I took a quick look into MPC and couldn't come up with an answer....there does seem to be an external OGG filter that allows you to define which lang...or to be able to switch langs...tho I didn't have time to hunt it down and try it out. Plus most the stuff I have is hard subbed...and very very few has dual audio...however I can probably still hack some thing together but it wont happen till monday PST as I'm heading out of town tomorrow morning. Plus STU is likely to kick my ass if I don't start pitching in on those DB's I got him roped into helping on.
  25. try redownloading the installer and reinstalling...other wise I'm clueless.
