  1. Yup they most certainly could, tho generally speaking I'd rather work with Xpadder natively.
  2. Yeah they are now standard ascii rather than binary...and yeah its a very nice improvement that will help expand the true usefulness of the application. Right now you can load a profile and save over top of it, and the resulting file will be plan jane ascii in INI format...so there is no reason to remake older profiles to take advantage of this.
  3. 2007.07.11 Improved INI data reading speed and error handling Added INI style profile files Fixed a bug where DPad Diagonal mode button selection didn't update bolding Well Profiles are now INI based...so it should be easier to help others to trouble shoot their profiles so that they work correctly.
  4. Well generating batch files, is fairly straight forward, tho I do tend to avoid batch scripts. I'm actually looking at generating a full battery of delta configs predefined with known working settings...then creating a batch process to ether link to an existing iso or delete the config since no iso is present...this could take some time for the end user...but far less than other wise. My Zinc loader could certainly be redone...as I'd like to make use of Xpadder than JoyToKey. Well if MisFit has CLI it really doesn't need a loader...just a INI and probably a Map file...I've never toyed with it but I'll take a look as thats probably some thing that can be done in short order. *Update* Added Misfit Mame Map file 0.113.6
  5. you mean ePSXe? If not could you please post a link. I actually got ePSXe working fine via using the Delta loader in conjunction with my loader...tho the whole thing is probably up for a rethink as it seemed like a lot of effort up front.
  6. Okay I'm looking for input from those that know emulation far better than myself to come forward with lists & links to emulators that worth while to use, that currently would require a loader in order to function correctly in GameEx. There is no promise that I'll create the requested loader...but hey its far more likely to happen if myself and others are aware of the emulator & the need for it.
  7. Heh also seems your making the switch from MameWah to GameEx. heehe or maybe you just got lost. Anyways good to hear you got the problem solved.
  8. Try installing it but on like the 7th dialog "Select Additional Tasks" select "Reset all ffdshow settings" then alter to your own personal pref's.

    nod32

hmm I don't think this is the case...gameex doesn't access roms, when browsing the game list...at best you would have nod32 accessing movie files or snap\titles...I don't seem to have this issue and I also run nod32...I'll jam up on a video some times...but its all ways the same one....which in my case its ether badly encoded...fragmented or just simply damaged. I'm running a registered build of 2.70.32 if that makes a diff, on WinXP SP2. I'm on a dual core systems...so maybe this is what is making the diff...all I can really say is that I'm not having issues.
  10. The easiest way is probably to uninstall all the codec's you have and simply install beta2 (stable) (bottom of page) ** Sorry original message had links to wrong version of ffdshow, and XP Codec Pack use a version not usable by GameEx **

    Your welcome.
  12. Hehe good deal. I tweaked a bit the one I had done up originally...see attached. Oh version 1.00 is out for this emu.

  14. You guys are welcome. As for a GameEx into...I don't know of any...and I'm currently procrastinating on finishing up some databases...so I can't fire up Maya and After Effects to see about creating one...with out fear of virtual rotten veg's being hurled my way.
  15. Well you could make a backup of your Data & Config folders...but you should be fine updating over top of your current installation.
  16. Okay simple enough. 1. Start up "Advanced Configuration" 2. Click "MultiMedia/HTPC" 3. Click the "Browse" button for "Startup Video/Dir:" If a single files is selected only that video will play...if its a directory then GameEx will randomly pick & play from the available movie files in that directory...and clearly if there is no videos there...it will play nothing. 4. Click "Save" 5. Start GameEx and after the wait\loading screen the video will start to play. Oh you may want to check out http://www.cinemarcade.com/movies.html for other vid's...I don't have any other links to video's...but maybe others do. Found another link...to some stuff...will add more as found: http://www.onlinearcadeusa.com/videos.htm

    Happy 4th!

Hehe bad taste and a sore spot are two different things. Britain was at the time of our rebellion, waring with France and Spain the super powers of the time...anyways with out getting into a history\economic lesson, there is no reason for it to be a sore spot...just bad taste.

Your welcome...and damn thats a lot of downloads in a short period of time.

    Happy 4th!

Well in my neck of the woods about all one can do is party...seems the local authorities don't like the idea of civilians having anything that goes boom...it seems to defy logic that I can own a large caliber rifle, but can't light off bottle rockets.....

    1964 N64 Emu

I can confirm 1964 doesn't have CLI...however here is a rough loader so that one can use it...I'll look into refining it later...just don't be expecting amazing results for right now. All configs & loaders can now be found in the 101 reasons thread.
  22. Well I felt it was worth $25 or what ever I paid just to get rid of that nag screen so I could finally get things setup quicker...course most people aren't trying to learn the in's and outs of a frontend while setting up 30+ emu's. While things have gotten smoother since I started...I still think making the donation up front is worth while and a wise choice. To me the extra features offered by making a donation are nice, but they are not the clincher...mainly its the satisfaction of knowing that by making the donation I'm assuring that updates will come frequently for myself and others.

    Happy 4th!

I'm not sure if Tom is from Britain...so talking about the 4th maybe in bad taste.
  24. Well you can't with Mame currently. You basically need the emulator linked to at the top of the thread, then you can use the files I provided above to help bring things together, like any other emu when used with GameEx.
