.mod files are a request I put forward to Tom...basically they are an extension given by digital camera's for mpeg2 video's. Not exactly sure why they don't use the proper extension...unless its to gauge someone for a video editor that actually realizes .mod files for what they are.
Well glad you like it, but still need a lot of work. I've altered the colors a bit...more brighter...which I think better reflects the colors in the original logo for the Emu. I've also increased the rez the icon is...since its easier to scale down than up while making things look good. Tho probably should have made it 1000x1000 as we are likely to see a doubling of typical monitor resolutions in the next few years. Anyways let me know what you think, if you like I'll repackage it in the config thread.
Okay I've packaged up my map file and altered version of emphatic's import INI, and a new icon. In addition there is a custom shape file, and a gradient file all for Photoshop...I'm really hoping someone can make a better Raine icon as my looks like ass. Anyways [linky]
Okay I've updated the multi system map file...haven't felt all that excited to do per system maps...but hey at least this time around I added a icon for use in GameEx...along with the custom shape file for use with Photoshop...for those that want to make some thing that match's their theme. Anyways [linky]
Well you can regex a clrmamepro dat file...which is what I normally do then tweak from there if need be. I've attached a macro for UltraEdit32 that will regex the dat file for you...provided you own UE32. If there is interest I can post the regex in ether Unix or Pearl format. You guys will also need to hook me up with this nonMame stuff...as its different from my understanding of it.
I thought the nonMame sets where catch all's for roms that where used in other arcade emu's (Raine, FBA, WinKawaks, Nebula, Model2, Zinc,...) But hey I'm still a noob...I've been in this what a year now?
Nice update. Got a quick request, would it be possible to support the .mod extension...its typically used by digital video camera's...its MPEG2 with a different file extension.
Okay added SendKey to the INI you may need to increase the wait period before SendKey is used...so increase from 1000 to 2000 so on and so forth. basically every thousand is one second. I'd swear I had it auto booting the CD prior with out the need for SendKey...hmm
Okay I guess that other thread I linked you to wasn't of any interest. Import the INI contained in this archive. Correct the pathing to your Emu executable, in the "Working Path" field. Correct the "Command Line" field to contain the correct Super System CD card name, thats placed next to your executable. Enjoy
I think its suppose to boot directly to the game...I don't have this setup up currently. Main thing is to make sure ME is set to check the correct CD\DVD drive. Maybe refer to this thread for more info.
