For anyone that has this gun how big are the led stands and what do they look like exactly. I assume the gun jsut plugs into the usb port, do you have to plug these in as well?

I was almost ready to order a lcd topgun, but I heard somewhere that you had to be atleast 6 feet away from the screen for them to work properly. I would be playing on a 19 inch crt monitor and that wouldn't cut it being that far away. Can anyone confirm this

I'm dumb lol. I had moved a mame director into a sub folder and forgot to change it in my settings lol. Problem fixed and I updated to 6.28 which i needed to do anyway. You can close this thread now.

Just got back home from the lake over a 4 day period and prior to this everything in game ex worked fine. Now I loaded it up and on the start screen its not displaying mame anymore. It starts with multimedia applications and games and others option, but not one for mame. I haven't changed anything at all to my knowledge. I'm not using the latest game ex but its like 6.14 I believe

check out ricci's topic I update my mame32 build to 106 and it shows how many total games i Have now.

Alright here is what I got from the two version of my mame32. This is after the audits from mame32 itself. I've never used clrmamepro, and I dont really know if these numbers would change if I did. V105.3 Available 6027 All 6124 Working 5372 V106.1 Available 6054 all 6140 working 5395

so is the 5719 under available games or what? Under mame32 under available I have 6027, but it still list some games that aren't working. I can't remember how many I have working after I audit them. I am using .105 v3 as when I updated I had less available roms. Maybe its fixed now. Do you have any big bugs iwth v 106?

Did you try and update the list in game ex? or had you already done that.

I think i know what your problem is. After you changed the settings did you update your mame list. I just figured out you had to do that in order for it to make any changes. Maybe you;ve done this I dunno. Also how many games does mame 32 say you have in avaible and in all games cause mine is only 6027. What version of mame 32 are you using. I think I'm using .105 v3 with the 106 romset

I really have no idea how to check.> I just know that mame32 list 6027 available games and gameex now list 5050. I still have checked not to display non working games so that might be the case.

Took the filters off and updated my list andit went to 5050 I don't know where the other 80 games are but I don't really care this increase is good enough for me thanks guys.

Yeah I thought that was for the actual advance mame build. Like I said in my other posted I have 6027 games in mame32 but in gameex only 3400 something. When I get off of work I will try and see if I can chnage some of the filter options like you suggested. Thanks for the info, I'll post back with the results.

Since my other topic fell off the first page while I was at the lake, and had a variety of questions I thought I'd make a new one. I'm trying to figure out how to show the mame clones as well and not just hte regular games. I saw in the configuration where to add clones, but that was only for advanced mame, not mame32. Is there a way to do it with mame32?

The only place I saw it was in the advancemame section, but Im not using advance mame but mame32. maybe I over looked it.

I figured out what it was, I was looking at a game that didn't have a cab or control panel lol. So I was just being dumb. One more question however. In my list of games it say I only have around 3500, while in mame32 I have over 6000. Does it not list clones in gameex or what?

Under mame games I only have it to where I can see title and flyer. How do I change a setting to get it to display my cabinets, control panel, marquee etc.

Thanks for the information guess I need to mess around alittle more and find it lol. Anyway I tried it with project 64 and the same thing is happen that was mentioned above. WHen I try to load a game it just go black and doesn't do anything. Works fine if I load outside game ex. I will probably just use game ex for mame and then manually open up my other emulators. Thanks again for the quick response.

I would really like to know this as well. I just got game ex and have it running fine with mame and my music, but was curious as to how to apply other emulators. I assume like the above poster mentioned that you would just use the external app feature, but I wasn't sure. If someone could point out a faq on this that would be great as I've searched around and haven't found anything.
