Absolutely loved the campy catalog pictures they used to draw for the games. Incorporating them into the theme is awesome!

Atari 2600 Warlords is a lot of fun for a group. Gauntlet plays 4 players and is a treat to play! "Red warrior needs food - badly!" I believe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is 4 player but I've never played it.

Just reorganizing my office for a room change and found some PC discs - realized I never mentioned StarCraft. That game has logged more hours for me than any other game out there (except EverQuest). My son and I still play it when we have time to jump on Battle.Net. Never tried Knights but something tells me I should give it a whirl.

The Ur-Quan Masters - Sourceforge Excellent port from the 3DO sourcecode that was released to the public.

My favorites(not necessarily in this order): 1 - Star Control II (3DO) - Absolute favorite game ever. 3DO version had speech! Even the computer didn't have that! Also had a great sense of humor. Still replayable to this day. 2 - Star Wars (Arcade Game) - loved the sit down version best. Sounded amazing. 3 - Demon Attack (Atari 2600) - I remember "beating" the game a very long time ago. After level 84 the game freezes. I've never done it since. 4 - Space Invaders (Atari 2600) - First video game I ever personally owned. 5 - AD&D Treasure of Tarmin (Intellivision) - One of the best dungeon crawls I have ever played even to this day. I still play it a lot. 6 - Tekken 2 (PSX)- 10 string with King is awesome! Yoshimitsu can eat it! 7 - Metal Gear Solid (PSX) - This game gave me agita! I absolutely love the stealth games and this one was - and still is - the best in my opinion. 8 - Funhouse! (Pinball) - Always my first stop when I go to Funspot in New Hampshire. Best pinball I have ever played. 9 - Final Fantasy VII (PSX) - That was a great ride. My ex-wife bought it for me with the strategy guide. I beat it first without and then did everything in the strategy guide on the second run. Fabulous. 10 - Everquest (PC 2000-2010ish) - Spent 10 years of my life playing with people from all over the world. I made some great friends I'm still in contact with to this day. No other game has ever recaptured the feeling I had playing that game. Still miss my Vah Shir Beastlord sometimes.

Ever since I started using GameEx I have been using Draco's Space Invaders theme. The only change I made to that theme and yours was the intro.wav is swapped out to Sinistar's "Beware, I live!". EDIT: The sound file above was downloaded from the Digital Press archive. They have quite a few files I have used here and there. I used the Space Spartans "Hello Commander. Computer reporting." for a Windows XP bootup for at least 10 years.

This has displaced my favorite theme on my Arcade Cabinet. VERY well done and the work is appreciated!

Wow... I'm seeing a lot of setups for emulators I didn't know existed. GP32 has an emulator? That system was an emulation system itself right? Like the GP2X...

I set it up as an emulator - works fine but makes GameEx crash when I run Steam games that way... dunno why. Adultery may have hit it though. If GameEx doesn't allow customs on Steam that's why I don't see it. Forgot to update my arcade cabinet with it. All set now!

Ah ok. So it's not something I'm doing wrong. To use the Steam theme I would have to set it up as an emulator then correct?

I'll check that program out. I'd like to do some videos eventually. GameEx.ini attached. Meantime I found an old post that shows how to use PrintScr to take screenshots in GameEx. Here's what I see: GameEx.ini

I absolutely loved Black Adder. I can't say I have seen anything else with him but I probably missed out on a lot.

Thanks to nullPointer's very nice guide I can honestly say I am NOT using custom menus. Not sure what the problem is since every other theme piece you did works perfectly for me. EDIT: I have ZD Soft Screen Recorder 6.6. I was going to record a quick video to show you what I see but GameEx doesn't allow me to record the screen. I have also tried a screen capture - all I get is a black screen. What should I use to record GameEx and/or get a screen shot? Sorry if I'm clogging up your thread with questions.

I exclusively used the Configuration Wizard to set up GameEx every time. I'm not sure how to set up a custom menu.

CLICK ME CLICK ME CLICK ME!! EDIT: I cannot get STEAM to work correctly. The only 2 places STEAM shows up in the Configuration Wizard are on the Text page and it's own Steam page. I reset the Text page to read STEAM on both lines... nothing works. It also shows up under the "Emulated Games" menu which I cannot control I assume since there's no settings to change for it. Did I miss something?

I'll be picking up a 2nd key for my laptop. Its been running the demo for a while now.

I love the theme as I said before however I have a question/concern: With the way you're going to have the theme change on a per cartridge basis is there going to have to be a set naming convention? Is it based on what the names are in YOUR ROM list? For example you may have "3-D Tic-Tac-Toe (Atari)" where I may have "3-D Tic-Tac-Toe (1980) (Atari)". Just wondering if I'll have to go through and do a lot of matching up to make this work as awesomely (that even a word?) as this looks!

Well the Neo Geo Pocket Color is one. The other is something you're probably not thinking about - Windows games. I can live with the black screen looking at Windows actually. I run all my eXoDOS packages, Puzzle Quest and a few others through a Windows PC selector.

I'm glad I saw this while re-reading the thread this morning before install. I only have 2 that don't work (and that's because you don't have them yet). Just want to throw this out there... I LOVE THIS THEME. It's now at the top of my rotation.

Can't believe I missed this being released!! I am going to install this first thing tomorrow in my arcade cabinet and enjoy the ride! Thanks for the awesome theme!
