  1. I just purchased an NVidia Shield handheld. I have been looking for some good (free - $5) Android games as well. I'll have to try the two you mentioned stigzler. @nullPointer - Reaper looks cute. I'll have to give that a shot. @DazzleHP - is Limbo just iOS? I don't see it for Android.
  2. Got my N64 with 4 controllers today. Still looking for the rest.
  3. X-Arcade Tankstick + Trackball $169.99 If you don't have one but have been keeping an eye open for it here's a good deal. I bought mine 2 years ago during the same $30 off sale and never looked back!
  4. @Krakerman - I know this is pretty far into the future considering you've got 80% to go (damn fine work by the way!) but will you be releasing a consolidated pack with ALL the files? I feel like I missed something somewhere and it's hard to find them all in the thread. You're coming out with them so fast I miss pages of this thread some days!
  5. Thank you Tom! Well... never would have thought of that with this wireless keyboard. There's no NUMLOCK indicator. P1 joystick Up/Down/Left/Right on an X-Arcade have to be mapped as NumPad2, NumPad4, NumPad6 and NumPad8. Hope my missing the obvious helps someone else in the future!
  6. I have. I've also set "Enable Gamepad/Joystick" to "DON'T enable..." and that hasn't had any effect either. Weird right?
  7. Yes. I set those controls using the joystick on my X-Arcade. The X-Arcade is set up to be a keyboard and mouse essentially. It's just mapping that needs to be done. It's just not reading that mapping.
  8. I recently upgraded my Dell Zino 410 HTPC to an AMD Quad-Core 4.1GHz system. Oh yeah... I installed GameEx and ran through the setup but I have a weird issue. My controls are set for Up/Down/Left/Right which I set using the controller. They don't work. The Up/Down arrows on my keyboard work inside GameEx. The buttons I set work. The joystick won't. I tested it in Notepad and all four directions on the joystick work exactly like the arrow keys. I don't know what I am missing. GameEx.ini log.txt
  9. The item you linked is a bluetooth controller designed to connect to your iPhone or iPad (or any bluetooth enabled device) to play games on the phone/pad. Is this what you are looking for? Joypad Legacy
  10. Absolutely loved the campy catalog pictures they used to draw for the games. Incorporating them into the theme is awesome!
  11. Atari 2600 Warlords is a lot of fun for a group. Gauntlet plays 4 players and is a treat to play! "Red warrior needs food - badly!" I believe Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is 4 player but I've never played it.
  12. Just reorganizing my office for a room change and found some PC discs - realized I never mentioned StarCraft. That game has logged more hours for me than any other game out there (except EverQuest). My son and I still play it when we have time to jump on Battle.Net. Never tried Knights but something tells me I should give it a whirl.
  13. The Ur-Quan Masters - Sourceforge Excellent port from the 3DO sourcecode that was released to the public.
  14. My favorites(not necessarily in this order): 1 - Star Control II (3DO) - Absolute favorite game ever. 3DO version had speech! Even the computer didn't have that! Also had a great sense of humor. Still replayable to this day. 2 - Star Wars (Arcade Game) - loved the sit down version best. Sounded amazing. 3 - Demon Attack (Atari 2600) - I remember "beating" the game a very long time ago. After level 84 the game freezes. I've never done it since. 4 - Space Invaders (Atari 2600) - First video game I ever personally owned. 5 - AD&D Treasure of Tarmin (Intellivision) - One of the best dungeon crawls I have ever played even to this day. I still play it a lot. 6 - Tekken 2 (PSX)- 10 string with King is awesome! Yoshimitsu can eat it! 7 - Metal Gear Solid (PSX) - This game gave me agita! I absolutely love the stealth games and this one was - and still is - the best in my opinion. 8 - Funhouse! (Pinball) - Always my first stop when I go to Funspot in New Hampshire. Best pinball I have ever played. 9 - Final Fantasy VII (PSX) - That was a great ride. My ex-wife bought it for me with the strategy guide. I beat it first without and then did everything in the strategy guide on the second run. Fabulous. 10 - Everquest (PC 2000-2010ish) - Spent 10 years of my life playing with people from all over the world. I made some great friends I'm still in contact with to this day. No other game has ever recaptured the feeling I had playing that game. Still miss my Vah Shir Beastlord sometimes.
  15. Ever since I started using GameEx I have been using Draco's Space Invaders theme. The only change I made to that theme and yours was the intro.wav is swapped out to Sinistar's "Beware, I live!". EDIT: The sound file above was downloaded from the Digital Press archive. They have quite a few files I have used here and there. I used the Space Spartans "Hello Commander. Computer reporting." for a Windows XP bootup for at least 10 years.
  16. This has displaced my favorite theme on my Arcade Cabinet. VERY well done and the work is appreciated!
  17. Wow... I'm seeing a lot of setups for emulators I didn't know existed. GP32 has an emulator? That system was an emulation system itself right? Like the GP2X...
  18. It's $13.59 right now but ends in 2 hours from this posting. http://store.steampowered.com/sub/28187/
  19. I am located in the U.S. I am looking for Mario Party 3. NTSC please and not Japanese Imports. I am also looking for a NEO N64 Myth + NEO2 Pro 1024M SD cartridge. If you have a bundle for sale with all of this I'd be extremely interested but I will buy them separately so let me know what you have. Thank you!
  20. I set it up as an emulator - works fine but makes GameEx crash when I run Steam games that way... dunno why. Adultery may have hit it though. If GameEx doesn't allow customs on Steam that's why I don't see it. Forgot to update my arcade cabinet with it. All set now!
  21. Ah ok. So it's not something I'm doing wrong. To use the Steam theme I would have to set it up as an emulator then correct?
  22. I'll check that program out. I'd like to do some videos eventually. GameEx.ini attached. Meantime I found an old post that shows how to use PrintScr to take screenshots in GameEx. Here's what I see: GameEx.ini
  23. I absolutely loved Black Adder. I can't say I have seen anything else with him but I probably missed out on a lot.
  24. Thanks to nullPointer's very nice guide I can honestly say I am NOT using custom menus. Not sure what the problem is since every other theme piece you did works perfectly for me. EDIT: I have ZD Soft Screen Recorder 6.6. I was going to record a quick video to show you what I see but GameEx doesn't allow me to record the screen. I have also tried a screen capture - all I get is a black screen. What should I use to record GameEx and/or get a screen shot? Sorry if I'm clogging up your thread with questions.
