Hi Tom, Jsut a quick one: in the config screen, can you change it so that when the info comes up (rollover info?), it stays on until a key is pressed, instead off diasappearing after a set time? I can't read that fast for a lot of the screens!

I have this problem too; the sound in games is about half what it is when running straight through MAME. I've checked the audio when running through GameEx (Tab while playing), and it's not that. I did notice a command in AdvanceMame control line, -quiet, but I have AdvanceMame=False. Has anyone had a result fixing this? I think the sound used to be ok, but I spend so long faffing about trying to get Daphne running, I can't remember! Cheers

Lo peeps. I've seen some posts similar to this one, but not quite the same (I think). The Daphne loader I have for Space Ace is Build 130, from 2005, but it only lists Space Ace as games. How can I add Dragons Lair to it to get them both running? In GameEx, I set the paths correctly (I think) in the config screen, but it bombs out to a black screen when I try to run Space Ace (but a Windows error box appears for a sec as that happens). I have great plans for a Mame cabinet, and even SHe Who Must Be Obeyed has given permission for me to build it. Please, can somone help me out so I can build the Mame cab of my dreams? By the way, many congrats to Tom on a brilliant front end. GameEx finally convinced me to build a cab, and GameEx will be the GUI for me. Simple to use, but very configurable; as soon as my cheque clears next month I'll be donating. PPS: I found GameEx to be quite slow using the default theme, since I switched to the Tron theme, it's flying! Hope that might help somebody. Cheers
