You should double check your settings. I had never played this game on my system until it got posted in our competition. That's what the setting was when I tried playing. Nobody else mentioned it either. I'll double check on my Pi, seeing as how I've never played it on there either. 4 [Normal] is the default on my Pi as well. It must be something you did on your side, unless you're using a different romset that has changed it's default. Although, I'm not sure why that would be the case. That's the best part! The GOTM is just a "feature" game. You don't even have to participate on that game. You can post a score on ALL games. The GOTM is just something extra and if you win you could get a signature banner. But the program we use to create them is bugged to me and I can't make them. But PLEASE, feel free to post scores for old games too!

A mouse is the only I can play this game. I would love to play with a spinner, but that's a special controller that I just don't have at my disposal. What's really hard is playing with a gamepad. There's just no way to be able to move your paddle faster to save the ball when you need it. Updated OP, DB, RSS

I've actually been playing a lot of Bump'n'Jump on the NES lately. I can see where the popularity comes from. I suck at it though, but there is a lot of replay value here, to try and get farther and father in the game. Good job on the score LM! Updated OP, DB, RSS

I'm old but not that old. Sorry I don't catch the meaning. All I can recommend is "Clear Cache and Cookies". Although, doing a system-wide spy/ad-ware scan, viruscan, and routine defrag won't hurt either.

Wow a bunch of hammers coming down lately. I had just read about the guy getting banned from Twin Galaxies because he posted a score in Dragster on the Atari 2600 that was technically incapable of achieving. Now there's this guy, already made famous from his score, and then the movie/documentary, now getting the ban-hammer too. Either something is going on over at TG/Guinness, or these guys are just losers looking for their 15 minutes (30 years?) of fame.

Since our friend @Luigimaker has been hot recently, posting up scores, I felt it necessary to update the Leaderboard. In fact, he's managed to jump up quite a bit, from 21st place to 13. Not bad in only a couple of days. The trick? POST SCORES! We have a bunch of games with less than 10 scores posted. So you get MORE points by posting on those games because wherever you place, you earn that much extra. If you place in any games that have 10 or more, you still get 1 point, but you get more if you place in the top 10. So keep those scores coming! Also, @patrickfx jumped up a few places too, now posting in at 15th place now. Great job!

Thanks. I still feel like GC's lurking around. He's actually sent me a few PM's about coming back soon. Granted, it was over a month ago, but it's cool. I'll wait and see what he does (if anything). Tell ya guys what. If he doesn't come around by the next GOTM, I'll just unsticky the thread and see if I can't figure out how to move it to the back of the forums. That way I'm not really erasing the thread, just "hiding" it.

I get that feeling too. It's a good game with fluid controls. I think it's just the story line that's kind of a bad rap. Not very exciting. Updated OP, DB, RSS
