Hiya Tape- Great questions! I was hoping it would recognize preexisting videos, but it appears to start from the beginning each time, which is why I could not figure out where the problem was, due to the time it takes to go through the process..after a few hours of watching, I turned my head..and BAM!..restarted!!

Have you gone throught your CONFIGURATION for GAMEEX yet?? Within that , you can manipulate a multitude of things to change your view.

I am running GAMEEX on two machines currently. I have a standalone that I use to do all the MAME updates on (compiling roms/videos and other add on's, and once I am sure it is solid, I transfer it to my console. Basically, the standalone is my workstation/debugger for games, but I usually test the versions of GAMEEX on there, and that is when I noticed I liked some previous functions.(this way, if something goes horribly wrong-which it has not yet Don't get me wrong, each version is getting better and better, but I wondered if I used it on my workstation, without an Internet connection, if that would cause any problems when it seeks to update. I have registered one, and will gleefully register another if that is a problem.

Hiya Tom! I wish I could! I stood by, watching the video creation (for hours, like you said it would take and after I got tired from injesting too much vino, I hit the sack. When I awoke, dazed and groggy, it got an error log from GAMEEX. I will retry it again and post the log to see if you can gleen anything from it! Thanks!

As far as basic troubleshooting, go backwards. Take out GAMEEX. Make sure you have it all the way out (directory c: too). Then, try to eliminate everything possible on your startup. Reload GAMEEX WITHOUT the reg hack. If it works, then put the hack in. Let us know what happens.

Hi Tom- Will the autoupdate feature affect stand alone machines (i.e. seek error) or would I be better off with a previous version? Also, will you ever offer previous versions of GAMEEX? I noticed there are some earlier versions that I would liked to use again (but overwrote them!) for different platforms I am using. Thanks!

Hola! I noticed when I was doing the MAME video creation, at some point during the process, GAMEEX restarts. Is this the auto update feature doing this??

I am not getting a log whatsoever..it just comes up with the Daphne error screen, which I suspect means it is not pointed correctly..will keep working on it..was just hoping someone had a "quick" fix..

Can anyone help me with configuring Daphne?? No matter what I seem to do, I can't get it to work right..damn thing is that I had it working solid, but something changed and all I get are errors now...

Did you go intro the properties (of your version of MAME) and check out the screen (view/display) layout?

Hi- I just wondered what the current version of MAME is capable of supporting as far as roms. Currently, I am showing a little bit over 5100 on an older version, and it is running solid, but wondered if by upgrading I might be helping myself out or not. Since everything is working solid, I am a bit hesitant, but just wanted to see what others have to say on this matter. Thanks!

Easiest install to date! Would it be possible, at some point, to have access to previous versions?? I liked some of the older version, but overwrote them...

Amen brother! If there is any questions as to how good this product is, roam around the Net and check out other Front Ends..look at their creation dates, and when they were UPDATED last. Tom, you are doing one hellava job for all of us. There simply is no other product out there that does so much for so little!

Just a note to thank you for your time and effort with this project..all this for 19 buck?? Where else can you get a great piece of software with CONTINUOIS free upgrades and be able to talk and suggest things to the DEVELOPER who actually listens and helps out everyday?? C'mon folks..pony up the minute amount to help keep this project alive and well! There is nothing out there, even remotley close, to being all things for all people like GAMEEX is! Thanks again Tom.
