Funny you should mention this..I am just back from the Novell campus in Provo UT (OES2)...where I was talking to an instructor about this...I learned (after class of course) how to create wine applications, and was just toying with trying this...I think it might work...going to start playing now!

Has anyone programmed MAME controls for Robotron? If so, any advice on how to program a shoot button? I can move with one joysticks (like the game) but have not been able to assign a shooting function to the secondary...thanking in advance-

btw..lost the drive due to a power spike Was setting up my server and one drive died a slow and painful death...scsi drive too...cost some BUCKS to replace..

Funny thing is that there is no log..no error report (checked setting and it is on). I just go to play a game, and it hangs for a bit, then goes back to "play game," screen and that is the end of the procedure. I have never seen it do this before,,all my paths are solid, and I have doubled checked them all...kind of at a loss...will reload and check it again

Just lost a drive, so I reloaded on a new drive..start up and try to play a game..the game attempts to load, then hangs, and returns to play game..any ideas? Thanks!

Hiya Brian- There are actually some good reg hacks that are better than DOS Box..will look for mine that I made..allows for a person to play all older games on XP/Vista...no problems....I probably have six computers in my garage, all various OS's to deal with this issue, but then found some reg hacks that I modified..now all my games run on one computer, no matter their ages..will look for them>>

Just updated to newest version and all the art bezels and backgrounds appeared..forgot how to do full screen without art work and bezels...a little help please???

Logically speaking...where the hell else are you going to find a product that does so much, and is continually supported, where you can talk to the creator, for such a cheap price?? Think about all the time that was/is required to keep this project up and running. Tom is vastly undercharging for what this experience is. Think about what was around 10 years ago as far as frontends and where we are at now...talk about leaps and bounds! And to those of us who lived through the glory times of arcades, to be able to access the games we loved in the comforts of our own homes, we are forever indebted to this man...with that being said, think about all the quarters you have dropped in machines in the past..this beast is CHEEP!! Tom is the MAN!
