Finished Gameroom Themes Vol 4 which has Gauntlet, Gauntlet II, Ikari Warriors, Vanguard, Vanguard II and Zektor!

Around 113 so far. I've mainly been doing MAME themes. I think starbuck said he's done over 200 which I think he's now interested in trying to create his own theme now. The problem with this theme is mainly storage issues I think for everyone to share there themes. Dropbox is one way to do it and also they have a iPad/iPhone app and an Android app for it as well.

Not sure haven't tried yet messing with the videos yet as I've been working on a couple more themes tonight Vanguard and Vanguard II. These will be in the next Volume Pack.

Glad you like those as I really like how they turned out. Last night I finished Zektor and hopefully I might have Vol 4 ready by this weekend sometime. The video playback on the vector games thou are a bit dark the ones from emumovies so I might have to re-do those so they look brighter.

You are a theme'ing machine! Glad to see at least a few people are enjoying this theme. Since releasing this I've slowed down a bit myself as I'm doing maybe 2-4 a night, but l want to start to tackle some of the other system soon. I did get my Atari 2600 framework finished so I can start working on each of those game themes. This theme will take awhile before I ever finish it ... if ever since it's always an ongoing type of theme pretty much endless. I am also considering CD and DVD type of themes for this as well. So I have alot in the pipeline for the future. Might want to ask Santa for a few more HD's for Christmas.

@starbuck Did you install the font as it looks like it's off a bit on your main menu where the Dig Dug selector is. Also if you go into the text/lanaguage and remove the By Category By Manufacturer ect (by leaving those options blank) then that will fix the text box on the left side. Will have a look at it tonight. What is mubak? You mean emubak

Here is a request for you. The ability to add custom buttons (with a custom icon that you can make png images) to your theme which where you place them can launch an external program when you click on them or to goto box images, manuals ect ect. Why you say would I want to do that well on my theme I have the game info disable for good reason but would still be nice if I can click on a button not a text menu to see the manuals or tv commercials for each game.

to remove the blue screens between themes put the files in the theme zip default-default in your GameEx folder. There should be 3 png files emubak, bak and daphnebak. Those 3 files should be in the MEDIA folder in the default-default theme. Overwrite the files in that folder as this removes the blue screens.

I was almost thinking you were doing a theme based on that classic Arcade Gameshow.

Yes it's a rotating monitor that I have set vertically which is awesome for SHMUPs.

I am creating logos that i need to be 1050x1680 for my secondary monitor but after a few secs when it displays for the system it's setup for it disapears and goes black however if I use a smaller sized image it displays and stays on all the time??? Is it posible to allow larger sized images to be used for Logos as I want from my main custom menu to display a much larger image on the secondary monitor when that system is highlighted.

Here is a sneak peek at the Atari 2600 theme I'm working on. [uPDATE] This is what the final version of this theme will look like. With this (Atari 2600) theme it will also have a custom background so when switching between games the current background will stay static with the exception of the cart and box image unlike MAME and Daphne which has the black/grey backgrounds when selecting games. Also working on custom images for GameExtender for each game to display info about the game like matrix charts ect ect...

No you can use Daphne setup in GameEx as it will work ok. I only had an issue with MAME tis the reason why I made MAME a seperate emulator only. If you use more than one MAME emulator you can also use the group feature and it will work with the theme ok.

As for Dropbox just goto there site all the info is there.

@starbuck I wanted to use map files but it has strange effects on the theme by ading in unwanted spaces. so you would have to press the down arrow twice to move to the next game. No I wanted the bar to be there so there are 3 options Back, Home and Exit. plus it would look funny since I wanted the date and time on the opposite side. This way it looks more uniform on both sides. I don't use database files so I will have a look more into that too see what I can come up with. Yes for the path I have no control over that as I would like to have an option in GameEx to select what displays in the theme editors Image1&2 box for each emulator you setup. I believe I have already requested that feature for Tom to add in.

Ok here is my Gameroom Themes Volume 1 collection. This one includes: 1942, Crater Raider, Discs of Tron, Pole Position 1 & 2 and also Star Trek.

Runs smooth and perfect on my 64gb iPad 3. Might wanna shoot them a msg about the issues you are having on the ipad 2 so they can fix it.

@starbuck to remove the by manufacturer display/options goto setup wizard and select text/language and remove all the text for the By Manufacturer, By Name and By Category. Make sure you have Loading screen disabled as well as the Pleast Wait animation set to Don't Show these are located under the enable/disable features in the setup wizard.
