I would not be suprised if it does as this thing is what Fraps should of been. It will even lock the FPS but not change the FPS of the game itself which Fraps doesn't do. Fraps will lock the FPS but it also locks the FPS of the game too. A bigtime advantage Action! has over Fraps. So on Action! if you have a game running say at 120 FPS as an example but you record at 60 FPS the game will still run at 120 FPS but record the video at 60 FPS. How cool is that.

Very nice indeed! KRC.... I got my system back up and running on Win 8 Pro now. So looks like it's time to get back to creating themes again.

Just found this amazing piece of software for game recording and snapshots. This program even records and takes snaps of the metro ui unlike Fraps. It also supports multi-monitor so you can take a snaphot of your screen on any monitor if you want as well, very cool! So yes it works on Win 8 and has much more options to config if you like as well. Check it out! It's called Action! and it's made by Mirillis.

I find that when GameEx exits it creates a new unsaved theme with a black desktop wallpaper under the personalize settings. Even thou I had it set to my own theme. Very strange indeed!

Just curious Tom when closing GameEx and returning to Win 8 desktop why does my desktop wallpapers on all my monitors go black and I have to change them back everytime I close GameEx? Is this an issue with Win 8 or GameEx?

Things have been busy lately so I haven't spent much time working on any more theme packs. I just upgraded one of my computers to Win 8 Pro and I must say I like it more than I thought I might. I am getting ready to move all my GameEx stuff over to Win 8 so this might take awhile to re-config my system so for now there will be no updates at least for awhile longer.

Spending more time working on Future Pinball theme and here is the latest WIP with a Highest Score for each tables theme that you can change. I swear FRAPS takes the worst screenshots! Be cool if GameEx had some kind of way to display this from a database or something for each table/theme. My way you have to manually change it to keep it up to date. I did make a Highest Score framework so it's not that difficult to implement/change each time.

No worries! I prob would be up late also but my christmas vacation is over and back to work so not staying up so late since I got to get up early. Volume 19 is ready!! ... Double Dragon, Juno First, Escape From the Planet of Robot Monsters, Omega Race, Super Off Road (Also Track Pack), Polaris and Pac & Pal.

Not sure ... why? You might have to test and see. I haven't used any foregrounds as of yet as these game themes are using the theme editors image2 box at 1920x1080 so it's more or less the foreground image.

You did but never made mention that you were gonna enter it in the contest. More of to see if you could make a theme and see how it works and possibly improve upon. I stand by what I said in the past and I do not want to enter this theme even thou I think and feel it's a winner however with that said there is alot of other stiff competition out there and other themes deserving as well.

No I want you to enter it. I know you stated that it took from other themes however if your going to do that you should of asked before doing so. Go ahead and enter it you have my permission. The reason I didn't enter it is because it was my gift to the community to have something that rivaled Hyperspin. I would expect to win! Unless of course KRC enters his latest theme he's working on as it would be the clear winner if it were up to me.

Thanks Adultery for the awesome Map File Maker as I've used that in conjunction with my Gameroom theme to create a MAME map file so that I could list all my themes in alphabetical order now!!
