  1. Here is the Bagman Bezel. Just copy the zip to your MAME artwork folder then you may need to adjust the screen size a little within MAME itself for it to fit perfectly in the bezel but once you do it will be saved the next time you run the game. Note: Updated Bezel (v2) Here is the MAME setting to center the game screen. Change these in MAME: Screen Horiz Stretch = 0.938 Screen Horiz Position = -0.006 Screen Vert Stretch = 0.778 Screen Vert Position = 0.000
  2. The nice thing you can do with Hyper Bezel is that you can use it to create a bezel for a specific game then customize it as I did with Bagman. Since there is not a very easy to use Bezel maker which still shocks me to this day with all the popularity of MAME that noone has made such a program but Hyper Bezel can make the process of making custom bezels much easier than anything else out there that I have found. I think Chillinwater has done a very commendable job on this and his generosity is very much appreciated in letting us use it as well! Thanks my friend!
  3. Glad too see you chime in over here Chillin! Thanks for lett'n the fellas here use Hyper Bezel in GameEx. This thing rocks man.
  4. New project I'm working on. Custom bezels for MAME!
  5. Here is an updated bezel of Galaga 88 with the Gameroom theme!
  6. Wow! That would be kool EMU Commander . Sorry didn't mean to get you off track. However I still had MAME setup even thou I don't use it and it crashes still. Is it possibly because I use a off version of MAME.
  7. I sent him a PM too see if I can share it with the GameEx community.
  8. Yeah I went in and made sure that MAME setup is config correctly not my seperate MAME eumulator setup the default GameEx one. Is it possible to have it work on MAME as a seperate emulator at all? Thou I know doing it that way it doesn't use xml files at all.
  9. He did a heckuvajob! All I did was found a way to do this outside Hyperspin however it only works with Hyperspin installed/setup as it uses that to figure where you have your MAME folders at. But when I select the game and pass it to Hyper Bezel it creates the game bezel and puts it in MAME's artwork folder for me. It makes it so automated that you don't have to manually create them it does it for you and you can design your own bezel easily in your favorite paint program then use them. Can you see why now I asked for this. We can learn a few things from the good folks over at Hyperspin.
  10. Here is a snapshot of it working!
  11. I figured it out and got it working ....... I will post what I did soon as I want to create a snapshot to show you!
  12. Well first I thought I would ask those who are more knowledgable in this field if it could be done without having to create a request since that could take a long time to happen if ever. So that is why I posted it here to see if someone could look at it and see if they can implement it without having to do all that. If I can figure it out I will do it myself and let you all know what I come up with but until then if anyone can look at it and see what they do with it. I think this would be a very useful and awesome feature for MAME users using GameEx don't you agree?
  13. Also just FYI I setup MAME as it's own emulator and have disabled MAME in GameEx if that Matters. I do have it setup thou I just have it disabled since I want MAME setup as a seperate emulator due to issues with my Gameroom theme.
  14. Nice One! If you exit out before creating the xml file it will crash the plugin manager. Also when it detected a different MAME version and you select to update it crashes the Plugin Manager as well.
  15. I don't think I was asking to make GameEx look like Hyperspin! That is what my Gameroom theme has done . What I was asking is for a feature or being able to implement a way to use custom bezels for Horiz/vert MAME games for the ones that don't have them already! That is what that I was asking. It just so happens someone over on the Hyperspin site had implemented this for that frontend and thought maybe someone here might think it could be done either using the Hyper Bezel II within GameEx or creating something like it thats all.
  16. Do you guys think this is possible to config this to work in GameEx? Check it out here.
  17. Happy Birthday, nullPointer!
  18. Support for the Roccat Talk technology keyboard/mouse! Adding color FX to GameEx!!
  19. Wasn't to happy with the wheel so I returned it back to Fry's and exchanged it for the Rocatt ISKU/FX Keyboard and the Rocatt Kone XTD Mouse and like these much better than my Razer Anasi keyboard and my Lachesis 5600 mouse. Gotta give these two products a big thumbs up as I like them alot!! and they look really kool with the custom led coloring you can do with them.
  20. Thanks T! Funny I was just at Fry's Electronics yesterday looking at the HDHomerun.
  21. Multi-monitor support for GameExtender with the ability to display 2 different images on seperate monitors. Very useful for more than 2 monitor systems.
  22. Well I went and got a DFGT racing wheel tonight and my initial results are it works great on my ps3 but sux in mame so far. Fun to play Daytona USA on the PS3 with the wheel thou.
  23. Updated Gameroom's Start screen (v3)! V2: - Added selection highlight window. - Added Powered by GameEx Logo. - Fixed Date/Time Window shadow. V3: -Added hex bolt heads to the Select System window.
  24. Intresting wonder if that same kinda plugin would work for mame that you can create your own Bezel for mame games and cut out the window area so the MAME game can show thru, but on the primary monitor and maybe the second one could show the marquee. Sorry just thinking out loud but would be nice too have another plugin like that.
