OK I seem to have it working with the exception of a few troublesome tables. Is there a way to have the plugin use our own background for each table and not the default one with text on it? I want to create my own loading screen for each table basically.

So I was thinking of getting both for playing racing and flight games on the PC as well as on my ps3 and thought I might check with the community which ones are the best to check out that will work MAME and other emulators also.

Here is a snaphot of my Black Knight theme.

My Visual Pinball themes are coming along nicely along with the tables comes the Instruction cards on my second monitor that I am making and then the 3rd monitor displays the DirectB2S Backglasses for each table. It's a awesome to see when it's running with the lights dimmed in the room! Just to give you an idea of what it looks like here is a snapshot (all 3 monitors) of it running. Left is the table running on Monitor 1 @ 1920x1080, Middle is the instruction card runing on Monitor 2 @1050x1680 (Monitor is a rotational monitor) and finally the right image is the Backglass (DirectB2S) running on Monitor 3 @1024x768. You should see what Black Knight 2000 backglass looks like with the lights going on. Very sweet! Btw the snaphot was done using Action!

It really seems to vary with tables. For instance Attack From Mars table works perfect everytime, but I get different results with the Black Knight 2000 table. Haven't tested any others yet but will later. Also I noticed when using multiple monitors and DirectB2S backglasses you need to have your monitors setup on the right side and not on the left side of your main monitor 1 as the DMD won't save the position correctly at all.

Must be VP9 that just has issues as the Black Knight 2000 table now won't display the DMD using your updated version even thou I press F3. Also when loading that table it still goes back to gameex sometime and sometimes it doesn't. VP just doesn't play nice with Windows I think.

You need not add any command lines your GameEx setup at all. The backglasses will run when you start the table. Also make sure you d/l the b2s_setup from your table folder first to create the resolution and what monitor you want the backglasses to run on.

Installation: ------------- - First of all check the color depth of the backglass monitor. It has to be 32bit. - The B2S backglass server requires .NET Framework 4 installed on your computer. - Unzip all files into your VP tables folder and overwrite already existing files with this new ones. - Rightclick the 'B2SBackglassServer.dll' and click on 'Properties'. Maybe you'll find the following text on the 'General' tab: "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer". Click on the "Unblock" button. Everyting is fine when you are not able to find this text. - Start the 'B2SBackglassServerRegisterApp.exe' in the VP tables folder and the server dll should be registered. IMPORTANT: With Win7 start the exe as administrator. - You're ready to download and play some 'directB2S' backglasses. To play: The table name, and .DirectB2s filename must match!! (Example) Atlantis.vpt Atlantis.DirectB2s These must match and be in your "tables" folder. Change this line in your table script: Set Controller = CreateObject("VPinmamecontroller") to Set Controller = CreateObject("B2S.Server") Add this at the end, it will keep VP from crashing.. Sub Tablename_Exit ' In some tables this needs to be Table1_Exit Controller.Stop End Sub Enjoy!

Nevermind I did some searching and figured out how to get it working. Wow! is all I can say......This just takes VP to the next level on my system.

Anyone know how to do this in GameEx on a Win 7 x64 system? Is there a special command line I need or run before that I have to do?

It seems to happen with the black knight 2000 table and it happens everytime I run this for the first time meaning when I startup gameex and goto VP and run that specific table then when I try a second time it runs fine with the exception of my DMD dissapears then I press F3 and then it shows up. No the Auth is not the issue.

I found that your plugin with the latest VP9 seems to work sometimes and sometimes it just returns back to the GameEx menu. When I try running a table your loader screen comes on and flashes a few times then it just goes back to the table list but when you try it the next time it runs ok??? I also tried using the Dragon Kings launcher and it also does the same thing however with his launcher it loses focus and you have to click on the screen.

Glad you liked it! I updated the Black Knight theme with a yellow border around the backbox to make it pop a bit more.

So I think I came up with a even better theme for Visual Pinball. What do you guys think of this one?

Been trying to come up with themes for Visual Pinball and tonight I came up with this one. Each table with have it's own graphics I'll post another pinball theme when I get it done to show you what I'm talking about.

Re-did the SNES theme.

Actually funny you said that .... I am finishing these up so I can get back to MAME themes. I knew these console themes would take me the longest time to do. Someday I will work on the handheld and computer systems. I have Future Pinball done but need to come up with a good original Visual Pinball theme still.

Never heard of it HDHomerun that is. Did a search for it at Frys and they have them for $79.99 might have to get one and check it out. Thanks for the update.
