  1. Glad you like them ... Was wondering if anyone would notice where the images came from. I had to clean them up a bit and make some modifications to them so they would work with the themes. I got 5 more themes done tonight for the next pak plus I am working on revising some of the first batch of themes I did that need updating.
  2. Ok here is the Atari 2600 game theme pak #2. This includes: - Basketball - Bowling - Football - Home Run - Hunt & Score - Indy 500 - Pele's Soccer - Sky Diver - Street Racers - Video Olympics
  3. Working on some more sport titles. Bowling, Sky Diver, Street Racer & Video Olympics are done! I am gonna release 10 themes in each pak from here on out.
  4. To be honest with you I am finding creating these 2600 themes quite enjoyable as it's taking me back to when I was a kid playing all these games with my friends. I remember going to K-mart this was back in the late 70's early 80's with my friends and playing in the arcade they had in there and going to the electronics section and looking and playing the games at the Atari kiosk booth they had setup. All the memories .... and going to the food booth they had to eat those pretzels, popcorn and subs might I add those subs were damn good too and also drinking cherry/cola icees (many brain freezes might I tell you). My very first game for the 2600 was Missile Command. I was so anxious for christmas day to get over so I could run up to K-mart (spend my chri$tmas money) and get it all the time hoping that it wasn't sold out. Actually I managed to get the last copy they had left (was mean't to be I suppose). Funny how we can remember those kinda things so so many years ago. Wish I can go back ... those were some damn good times as a kid. Anyways enough story telling more themes I completed tonight. Gotta love the box artwork back then.
  5. No the default theme is different and would not work with this setup plus I have it when switching between games you can see the cart slot empy making it look like your swapping out carts. I made a note at the bottom of my previous post about the Hunt & Score theme but thanks for noticing. Creating the map files is super easy using the Map File Maker so that is really no big deal.
  6. Happy B-DAY!!!!
  7. Ok here is my first Atari 2600 game theme pak. This includes: - Backgammon - Basic Math - Black Jack - Brain Games - Casino - Codebreaker - Flag Capture - Othello - Video Checkers - Video Chess *Updated map file included. ** Requires preview build of my Atari 2600 theme found here. I relised I forgot the Hunt & Score theme and will include that in the next pak.
  8. msx and amiga was released along time ago. I forget which pak it's in but it's in there.
  9. Black Jack, Casino, Codebreaker, Basic Math and Hunt & Score are done! I should have a new 2600 game pak and map file ready tonight some time.
  10. Brain Games & Backgammon done!
  11. Yes this is a limitation of GameEx that I can't get around. If there was a way for GameEx to turn on/off displaying Title/Box/Carts art individually in the settings then this would be possible but as it stands no maybe when Evo comes out I can fix this issue.
  12. I thought so you just need to change the name to Atari 2600 and it will work or like I said if you want to keep your name then change the Atari 2600.ini to what I mentioned above or you could just copy and paste the contents of my Atarti 2600.ini to your [Console] Atari 2600 & VCS (MESS).ini
  13. I am very sorry for your lost Aaron (aka nullPointer). Hang tough my friend our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hope to see you back on the forums again soon as this place won't be the same without you around here!
  14. Time Warner upgraded all our area several years ago and I can't complain here as I am getting d/l speeds @ 56.86Mbps and upload speeds @5.67Mpbs
  15. May I ask which emulator number do you have assigned to Atari 2600? I may have found your problem but need to know which emu # you use for your atari 2600. Thye name of your STart Page Name and Title Text needs to match my Atari 2600.ini so if you have it named Atari 2600 & VCS (MESS) rename it to Atari 2600 or change the name of the Atari 2600.ini to Atari 2600 & VCS (MESS).ini
  16. yes sorry noticed that after the fact I might have time tonight to give it more complete look over kinda rushed it last night as I saw you online and wanted to see if I could fix it while you where online. I sure it is a simple setting as it is not displaying at fullscreen
  17. I see the problem remove the custom background image and custom art path Try this new config. I deleted the issues that I think were causing the display issues.
  18. So I am a little confused you have Emu_76 as Phillips CDI but have the command line as MESS pointing to 2600???? As well as some custom art paths pointing to Sega 32X.
  19. Ok here are 3 new game themes for the Atari 2600 system. I am working on all the Board/Card game themes right now for the next release pak (btw no eta when I will have this ready).
  20. I think you forgot the attachment.
  21. You need to goto your Atari 2600 setup in the GameEx setup wizard and set the Title Snap Path to where you saved these individual game themes at. By default GameEx always displays the (Image2 in the Theme Editor) title image first unless no image is found then it will look for your box images next if no image is found and you assigned the No Snap Path to an image then it will display the No Image Found that you assigned to be displayed if nothing was found for that title. Yes the Atari 2600.ini should be saved in the theme folder this tells the Title images to be displayed at 1920x1080. If that doesn't fix it I need to see your GameEx config file.
  22. Make sure you unzip this to your Gameroom theme folder not the media folder and let me know if that fixes it. Looks like you forgot to overwrite the Atari 2600 config file in the theme folder. Also I noticed that arrow (at least it looks like that) in the bottom right corner over the Atari Logo you can get rid of that in the theme editor you know if you don't use that as it will look much cleaner.
  23. did you copy the Atari 2600 all the files in the zip to your GameEx folder and use the setup wizard to change the title folder to point to where you saved my titles to the individual game themes at? You can copy the Atari_2600/Title to where you have your art folder at and point the setup wizard title folder (for the Atari 2600 emulator of course) to this location. Typically this is where you d/l your media from emumovies at ... it's the reason why I tried to keep the folder names the same as emumovies. show me a snapshot of your screen then I can see what is going on. Also make sure those title themes match your games (filenames). I'll be checking in from time to time tonight to see if you are having any more issues that I can answer.
