I take it GameEx can run on netbooks? Been thinking of getting one of these bad boys for playing all my retro emulators on the go as it seems as it would look better than on a PSP and run more emulators for that matter. Was gonna use GameEx as the interface Laptops are bigger and heavier and the netbooks are lightweight and more what I was looking for.

Figured it out !! As usual I'm a little slow in my old age.<br>

Well I'm kinda new to Gamebase and just installed it and setup GameEx to use gamebase but I must be missing something because I didn't see anything new at all. Might help if we had some docs on how to use this.

That's funny I had already put YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Netflix in GameEx last year via www method And created a logo for each except for the Netflix one (Was done by Headkaze thanks btw). which can be found here http://www.gameex.in...h=1 Be nice if there was a Twitter, YouTube, and a Facebook logo as well. I know I could of done one I guess but I just don't have the patience or any good with using Gimp or any other paint program for that matter. My logos are kinda basic (see attached)

I got all my snaps from here (The old fashion way ... right click and save as method): http://www.vpforums.org/ http://www.irpinball.org/ http://www.pinballnirvana.com/ http://www.pinsimdb.org/fpreleases/ I got over 500 snaps/images for my tables this way

Command line should be: (Fullscreen) Altirra.exe /f "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]"
-
I tried them all and I prefer Altirra as it looks best on my Giant Vizio Scroll down as there is the latest 1.8 beta!

Have you tried using the WinAPE Loader? Look here http://www.gameex.in...501 I haven't used it myself, but maybe that will work for you

Sorry Tom wasn't sure if I posted about this before or not (old age is kick'n in) I think your right but it's been such a long time since I mentioned it and have yet to find a fix for it. My VP tables are in a group, but is there a fix for this? And Yes I am using the info page to "Play This Game" Some times when I boot up GameEx it runs fine and sometimes it has these issues. Also I think you mentioned before if I group a emulator such as my VP tables it will not display the last 5 played games as well. Is that correct? As I wish it would as it is enabled in each of the single emulator setup, but when grouped it will not work. Especially since I have over 400 tables and I have to scroll thru to find the table to play the most often each time.

Not sure if it is a glitch or what??? But when I try to run some emulators under GameEx sometimes it just sits there and does nothing or just exits back to GameEx when I try to run the game then when I try to select a different game under the same emulator it then runs the game just fine. So I try to go back and run the previous game that just exited back to GameEx it will run just fine now. Not sure why sometimes it will not run and other times runs just fine. It is very random. It happens alot with Visual Pinball (VP8 and VP9) tables and other emulators as well but not all of them.

GameEx NetPlay - Client/Server MAME/Mess
Krakerman replied to Tom Speirs's topic in FAQs, Guides, & Other Useful Information
Well so far I've connected only once and the gameplay/lag is bad that it's not very fun or playable yet. If this gets corrected then it will be an awesome!! feature but as of right now it doesn't and it's not very playable to the point of having fun smooth gameplay. Very nice feature to have in GameEx if the lag gets corrected. Guess I'll stick to my XBOX360 for online gameplay for now As far as 32/64bit not sure as I was playing with a 64bit version of MAME and it was working online when I tried it. -
Tom you still have the 11.22 listed even thou it is actually 11.24 on the d/l page

Tom should I put this in the 32bit version of MAME or the 64bit version or can I put it in both as I have both that I use under GameEx?
