  1. You have to remove all Admin privileges from PinUp Player exe's otherwise PBX can't tell it to close.
  2. After taking some time off, I decided to update everything to current. This includes VPX, VPM, (SAM,) and PBX. All have updated fine, and works, but strangely my DMD would not display the vPinMame info in PBX. Just stopped with the update. Nothing changed with my settings as it was a linear upate. Did some digging..mainly batch reverting files in PBX down to single files and found the culprit to be Interop.VPinMAMELib.dll. I was on 3.94 and went directly to 4.32. If I use the Interop.VPinMAMELib.dll from 3.94...works fine. It's calling something that I have missed in an update or do not have altogether. Any idea what this particular file is referencing other than VPM which is up to date? (I think 5022 is the current build# from Carny's build thread.)
  3. @Mike_da_Spike Thanks for the exports! Compiled for y'all. Enjoy. Volume 5 DMD videos.zip
  4. If you have the outputs I'll string them together and export for ya np.
  5. @Mike_da_Spikehow are those DMD outputs coming for Vol 5 hehe
  6. I have the same sentiment in that I have fx3 on my switch too...just hate paying twice
  7. Hey no problem my dude. I also have been lax on the cab work as you can tell I'm just getting around adding Vol. 5 to the front end!
  8. Yo @Mike_da_Spike did you ever record Vol 5 DMD's? The ones from Joy are no bueno on a PinDMDv3. They are all wonky.
  9. @scutters Makes a great point. This will not only relieve your current registry targets, but will create new paths and essentially be 'new' across the board. Also try to slim down the running tasks in that windows session of installation and testing. Keep task manager open and just keep an eye on what's juicing your system if anything. Maybe post your specs and hardware. We can get to the bottom of this. Sidenote: I used to LAN a LOTTTTT. When someone's PC would hose up, everyone knew that their PC was like a lock and the user was more or less the Key to fixing it. All computers (other than thin clients hehe) are like snowflakes and only the user knows their idiosyncrasies. But damn if we can't try
  10. I turned off AA, and seems to have sorted it for now. Running 4k, there really isn't anything terribly noticeable. Also, I did notice turning the shadows to low with 2xAA was working, but I'd rather have better shadows, so I turned off AA. This will have to do for now!
  11. @Mike_da_Spike Not to the extent of 60fps. It did smooth out the loss of frames, but still very noticeable during MB. I assume Zen will work it out over time. Probably just a leaky primitive set or something.
  12. Great! I will get right on updating drivers. I also run 4k, and was just going to deal with slowdown on MB....can't ever go back after 4k!
  13. I have a 1070ti w/Ryzen 5 1700 6 core. I have smaa on for VPX and crank the graphics everywhere...no lag...60+ fps. Monster bash multiball crushes the frames. Seems to have been on the only game during multi-ball I can get to do this. I'm not more than an iteration behind my graphics drivers, but that's what I'll try next. I even tried killing Dmdext as that was just revamped. Not the culprit. Anyone else notice this table being an FPS crusher?
  14. My dude. Thanks!
  15. It was on his end. He's the provider of the service. Tom had to make sure he had the WiFi's plugged into the blinky-box. Also to note... I add headlight fluid to my cars.
  16. Anything for you and the other nerds here. Here are the zips of what I'm using currently including the vids. Enjoy. BALLY_Creature_from_the_Black_Lagoon.zip WMS_Monster_Bash.zip If you need to rotate the videos...click me.
  17. I had to do this with dmdext and dial in a good pause. Might take a couple of tries to get it not too quick or not too delayed.
  18. Yo. You need to get Windows Focus Logger and see what's taking focus after PBX.
  19. Yes, yes yes, yes. -Lisa Belcher
  20. I do not believe this is directly related to PinballX. The process is trying to start correctly but exits immediately upon trying to start FX3. I see you have a GT630...benchmarks show the minimum card to run FX3 is gt450. Benchmarks show the GT630 is less than that? Have you actually had FX3 running correctly from steam launch? Also, make sure you launch through steam at least once after initial install.
  21. Teamwork make the dreamwork. All well! Thanks so very much, Tom!
  22. Trying now. Thanks for your assistance! (I'm having a hard time putting this beer down and reaching over to touch the power-button on the cab so bear with me...)
  23. Sorry, my dude. I was super descriptive at the beginning of this thread, but to answer your question, it's just the media for the DMD. Almost like it doesn't scan or doesn't try to scan that directory? It could also not be initiating the driver to output the media at all...I really don't know but the DMD is otherwise unacknowledged. Works fine with ROMs for VP in the front end, but scroll to an FX table...or a VP table that only uses a static image, and back to black. Hope this helps. Let me know what log would let you know what directories are scanned/found or that the correct driver is loaded to display media and i'll upload her. My standard log is there at the top of the thread.
  24. Still busted. Going back to 3.78 as I did 20 min ago! haha. Sorry man. You want some logs or something? 3.78 works fine. Maybe @Mike_da_Spike can give it a shot, but I'm sure his woes mirror mine on this front. @Tom SpeirsAre you using a PinDMDv3?
  25. FYI back on 3.78. Working like a champion again and satisfying my OCD.
